1. Needs of the Many Screwed by the Few

Due to the unfortunate actions of a few ethically challenged individuals, I will be removing Skin Deep, along with the rest of my Supernatural fanfiction, from this site for the foreseeable future

Due to the unfortunate actions of a few ethically challenged individuals, I will be removing Skin Deep, along with the rest of my Supernatural fanfiction, from this site for the foreseeable future. It's a choice I regret being forced to make, but it is one I've considered for long enough to be sure it's the right thing to do, at least at this time.

For those who are interested in reading the rest of this story, I will be finishing it over on my Live Journal site. Since the root of the issue that forces this change lies in access control for the afore mentioned nitwits, it would be a bit counterproductive to post the URL of that site here. But since I am keeping this account open for the time being (I'm only removing Supernatural content, my Highlander and Trek fics will remain), if you PM me with a request for my Live Journal URL, I will send it to you so you can join me there to finish Skin Deep, as well as accessing the rest of my Supernatural fic, all of which will be archived on Live Journal for as long as I keep it available anywhere on the net.

And on the bright side of the coin, I will be posting several more chapters of Skin Deep over the next week or so on Live Journal; and we're actually getting very close to the end here, so there is that.

So there's the deal. I regret having to make this change and apologize for any inconvenience it creates for my readers; but it is an unfortunate reality that sometimes the needs of the many are screwed by the actions of the few, or the one. (Which is a bastardization of a Trek quote that Sammy would no doubt recognize, even if John doesn't.) So thanks for the time you've spent reading my SPN fic here, and I hope to see you over at my Live Journal where the gate keeping options are a little more suited to the kind of morally compromised individuals who occasionally make life a real pain-in-the-ass for the rest of us.
