Peony sat on the marble staircase, looking down the few steps that kept him above the floor. "Why's he taking so long?" He questioned aloud, the small rappig next to him gave a soft squeal as the young boy accidentaly elbowed him.
His head shifted, flicking growing hair away his face. "Sorry about that.." He murmered, jerking to attention as he heard footsteps. "Jade?" He questioned, jumping down the remaining stairs, in his excitement he ran face first into a maid.
"Im so sorry!" She exlaimed, but Peony heard none of it as he spun around, his beloved rappig following behind as he raced toward the familiar boy. "Finaly!" He declared in a huff, both stopped in their tracks only feet from each other.
"Sorry, I had to catch up on some things." He laughed, pushing those familiar glasses back up his nose. Of course the brunette didnt mention the persistant 'friend' that refused to let him leave his room.
"Ah, well lets get going, We're already late." He'd say, Trying to straddle the rappig beside him. The creature gave a grunt, but was accustomed to the boys fairly odd behavior.
Jade looked at the two, brows arching, he never would have thought friendship would be like this. Peony hollered at the boy once more, pulling him from his thoughts.
"Aheh, Sorry 'Your Majesty'." He'd taunt, hopping on the back of the poor Rappig, legs buckled and the two tumbled off of the creature with a laugh. "Look what you did Jade!" The blonde chuckled, rubbing the back of his head.
Jade lay flat on his back, having falling of the back of his friends beloved pet. "OH! My most humble appologies Your Highness." He chuckled, leaning up to watch the strange mixture of species run away with a high squeal and a series of grunts.
"Ok, Really now." Peony mumbled, slowly standing and wiping himself off. "Now then, Looks like we're walking"
Jades brows arched, "Hey, You need it," He'd say, Peony looked back at the boy, Lollipop already pressed to his tongue, "You always have something sweet on you"
Peony stuck a sugar coated tongue at the other boy, "So what?" He turned around, slowly walking down the hall, he continued to speak, " Plus, You agreed to come with me." He'd say, head cocking as Jade began to quicken his pace.
"Hey, Jade..Slow Down!" He said, struggling to keep up with his long legged companion.

This was my first story and Im stopping for now, My brain hurts. I might add more later if people like it.
