Akito's word was law. I had never cared for what he told us to do or what he wanted. He was spoiled and I hated him for how the others coddled him when he wronged us all. I never forgave him for what happened to Hatori. The cruel hands delt to Momiji, Kisa, Yuki, and Kyo. My Kyo.. he was delt the harshest hand of them all.
I always respected him, but thought he was foolish for wanting to be included in the dark grip of the curse. My eyes always shrouded in darkness, I wished I could see how that one unimportant girl could change such a cold soul.
She was Tohru Honda, the miracle worker that could do things that no one else could. That girl had stolen his heart. There was no more room for anyone else. Sighing in defeat I walked away from my door as Hastuharu and Momiji walked in. The vibrations from their feet even lighter than they had been in a long time.
The younger spoke, "You should meet her Hisana..."
I smiled in his voice's direction, but it was Hastuharu who caught the hidden meaning behind it.
"Maybe next time then, Sana-Sempai?"His gray eyes calm and observant , softened for her. His voice rumbled all the way to her bones. She nodded to him, still smiling.
"That would be nice, meeting her, that is..." she said softly into air.
