I came up with it after a visit from the plot bunnies, they wouldn't go away till I had written it down so there you go! It's Jack + Ianto and Toshiko + Owen pairing, enjoy ! xx
Part One: Toshiko Satto, I love you!
The week had been a quiet one. There had been little or no rift activity. The team were bored. Owen for one was pissed off with Jack and Ianto, consistently flirting and making suggestive comments. He'd nearly told them on several occasions to 'shut the fuck up and go and shag in Jack's office' however Owen wasn't the only one annoyed, Toshiko was getting pissed off with it all too. It came to a day in particular where they were being unbearable. Owen had just about had enough and had gone down to the autopsy room to get away from it all. Little did he know Tosh was already there. He saw her sat on his squishy sofa with her laptop.
"Oh Tosh! You gave me a heart attack then!"
She look up and smiled
"Oh sorry, I can go back up it's just..."
"Jack and Ianto being dick-heads! Yeah I know, feel free to stay here, keep me company!"
She smiled, it was the type Owen loved, the shy, lips pressed together smile, he felt his insides melt. He smiled back and sat beside her, picking up his own laptop and doing some of his own work. Occasionally he glanced at her, looking back down to his work quickly, she was doing the same, they kept avoiding each other gazes. After about 15 minutes Owen piped up
"Want a coffee? I can go up and make some, I'm not the best coffee maker but Ianto's probably wrapped up in Jack!"
Tosh smiled
"Ohh that'd be lovely, thank you Owen."
Owen went up to make the coffees, soon he came down with two steaming mugs on a tray and a plate of Tosh's favorite biscuits, custard creams. She saw them and her face lit up
"Yeah I knew you liked them" he grinned, placed the tray on the coffee table in front of them and sat back down in his seat " I was right, Jack and Ianto are in his office, dread to think what's going on in there! Gwen's fucked off home"
Tosh nodded and took a custard cream, and dunked it in her coffee, Owen looked at her in disbelief
"You dunk custard creams?"
she nodded and smiled
"Ch yeah!"
Owen smiled, this woman never failed to astonish him, he liked it when they were alone, there was a side of Tosh the team never saw. Owen was the only one to see this side and he loved it like that.
" So Gwen's gone home has she? I'm sorry but she really annoys me sometimes" Tosh realized what she said "Oh shit! I'm sorry, I forgot you were an item..."
"Tosh it's fine, the key word in that sentence was 'were' me and Gwen was a bit of fun, end of. To be honest Tosh, she pisses me off, has to get involved in everything, there are some things that she shouldn't be involved in."
Tosh smiled, again the shy smile that made Owen melt. At that exact moment Owen realized one thing, but instead of thinking it he said it out loud
"Toshiko Satto, I love you!"
Realization hit him about what he just said, he flushed a deep shade of red in embarrassment, he tried to mumble an apology but he was silenced by Toshiko's kiss...
