OK, so I feel that this is one of my best stories! I'm so excited to see what you guys think, so please review. It will mean the world to me. Any kind of criticism is welcome. (:

Love, Anernerk.

He knew she would run. He wasn't surprised when Ness walked up to him and told him she had gone. He knew where she would be too, on the cliffs. And that's exactly where he found her.

This wasn't the first time he'd seen her vulnerable. There were more than enough times to count, but he never held it against it against her. Never rubbed it in her face, or called her out in front of the guys. He knew she would've hated that.

She wasn't the type to let down her guard. She wasn't the type to let anyone in, but for some reason she wasn't ashamed to let him see that side of her, the broken side. And for some reason he liked that side of her. Maybe it was the fact that he was the only one who got to see it, or maybe it was just because when she was like this he got to see the girl in her. She was strong and able to take care of herself, but he liked being able to hold her up once in a while. He liked be her shoulder to cry on.

He knew she'd go to the cliffs. There were a lot of memories here. This was the first place she ever truly let her guard down around him. This was the place where she had cried and confessed her love for him. Where she had told him how scared she was to love him. She had been hurt before and she didn't want it to happen again. And no matter how much he wanted to promise her he wouldn't hurt her, he knew it wouldn't be fair to. He had no right to promise something he had no control of and they both knew it.

He had told her to take a chance and she had, but now she was running. Running from the only happiness she had ever known. Running from the only man who had seen her at her lowest and still loved her. Didn't she understand that this was hard for him too? He had never been the type to open up to people. He wasn't the type to settle for one girl either, but when it came to her it was different. She was all he needed. He hadn't looked at another girl since he felt their connection. She was the only one for him.

"Are you gonna take the leap," He says standing behind her. "I can't. I can't do it," She whimpers, looking out over the cliff. "We've gotten this far, why not just take the leap," He asks. "What if I get hurt," She whispers. "And what if it's the best leap you'll ever take?" She sighs. "It's hard to say no to you." He chuckles softly. "Good. Then don't say no." "But what if I lose you along the way," She asks. "Look I can't promise that you won't get hurt, but I can promise that'll always try to keep you safe," He smiles. "You promise?" "Yeah I promise….now, are you gonna take the leap," He asks again. She turns to see his bright smile lit up across his face. "Will you take it with me," She asks reaching out to him. He takes her hand. "Of course baby. I wouldn't let you go alone," He chuckles.

He can't help but marvel at her beauty. Her long black hair curled into medium-sized ringlets around her face with small flowers placed here and there. Her long white dress, which Ness had helped her pick out, was strapless and hugged her curves beautifully. But what he loved the most on her was the small diamond engagement ring that inhabited her left hand. It had been his grandmother's and he thought it fit her perfectly.

"Embry," She sighs softly, touching her hand to his cheek. "Mmm," He mumbles, closing his eyes at her touch. "I'm gonna take the leap," She smiles. "I love you Leah," He whispers, kissing her hair. "I love you too," She smiles, as he wipes away her tears with his thumb. "Now, let's go save Jake and Ness from having to stall any longer," He chuckles, taking her hand in his as they make their way through the woods, to take the greatest leap of their lives.
