Hold On For Me

A/N: Trying to clear myself from writer's block so I can write Dance With Me. This is just gonna be a ficlet. I really have no time for looong stories (, and I don't have enough imagination for one. I hope this is good.

P.S. All of this is Draco's POV unless stated.

Her pale form lay on our bed. Her soft brown hair spread out on her pillow. She looked so fragile, like a porcelain doll.

I knew she couldn't last long, but I didn't want to face it. I wanted hr to stay with me, forever.

She looked into my eyes and smiled, even though it pained her to even move, "Don't be sad, Draco. I'll leave happily, knowing that you'll love me forever, right?"

She said, tightening her grip on my hand. I swallowed and nodded, trying to smile and not to cry.

"Draco, I love you, remember that ok?"

I kissed her hand and waited for the worst to come, she closed her eyes and her hand slipped from my grip.

I cried, crying all the tears I had to hold for her sake.

~**~ A day later ~**~

Her coffin was lowered into the ground. All the people that attended her funeral were wearing white, from what she requested.

She told me once, long ago, that she wanted everybody to be happy when she passed away. That would be very difficult, I told her, as everybody couldn't bear to lose her.

I had placed my ring and her favourite flowers, Lilies, on her coffin. I hoped she would be in a better place. In fact, I knew she would.

~Later that day~

I sat by her dresser, I could still smell her perfume, I could visualise her sitting on her chair, singing. Those were the best memories.

I laid down on our bed, turning over to face her side, I could still see her sleeping peacefully. I closed my eyes and fell asleep, dreaming of her.

~In Draco's Dream~

Someone tapped on my shoulder and I turned around. The blinding white light made it hard for me to see who it was, and the person was wearing a hood.

"Who are you?" I asked cautiously.

The person smiled, a familiar smile. This person didn't say anything but motioned for me to follow.

A lock of long, curly brown hair peeked out of the hood, it too, looked very familiar.

"Please, tell me, who are you?" I asked again, hoping for an answer.

The person sighed and replied, "You still haven't guessed yet?"

It was a girl's voice; I just couldn't remember whose.

She turned around and took off her hood, revealing a face I remembered, it was Hermione, my Hermione.

I reached out to hug her but she just kept on walking. I chased after her, "Please, Hermione, wait for me. I want to come with you."

She turned around, "Are you sure?"

I nodded and she walked towards me. I put my arm around her waist and she led me towards the strong, white light.

"Tell me, Draco, have you ever met Merlin??"

~The next morning~ (Narcissa Malfoy's POV)

The front door was unlocked, so I let myself in. I had brought some food for Draco, he stopped eating since Hermione left us.

I knocked on his bedroom door, but he didn't answer. "Draco, I've brought something for you to eat!" I knocked again, louder this time. He still didn't answer.

I decided to open the door. I took the key from the kitchen and unlocked the door. There, on the bed, was Draco. He was pale, and very cold.

I started to cry. It had only been 3 days and I had lost my only family left. My son and daughter-in-law.

~The next day~

Another coffin was lowered. Everyone was in shock. It hadn't even been a week and they had already lost 2 people.

Two translucent, white figures hugging each other, watched over the funeral.

"I love you, Hermione Granger."

"I love you too, Draco Malfoy."

"It's time for us to leave now."

"I guess so. . ."

A/N: Did you like it? Very drama. I hope you did. R/R pls!
