It was an extremely tiring, and boring day in the Seireitei, but at last it was coming to an end. As the 6th division barracks were getting ready to leave for the day, Renji Abarai walked (Better word for smoothly)
To his captain, Byakuya Kuchiki. On approaching him Renji lad one hand down on the side of his captain's desk and bend slightly over to get a better view of Byakuya, Who was unimpressed with his Lieutenants motives. "So… Captain" Renji began, "Do you have any plans for tonight?" Byakuya eyes shifted quickly towards Renji, though his head never moved from it's position. "Well…" Byakuya started as he (averted?) his eyes back to the paper he was working on. "I was planning on sleeping if that's what you mean.." Renji's head dropped. "Not exactly…" he sighed. Renji picked his head back up looked around the empty room suspiciously . Only to see no one, Renji smirked. Looking back at Byakuya, Renji lend even farther over his captain's desk, trying to get his attention. But Byakuya continued on with his paper quietly. Renji sighed again. "Is something wrong Renji?" Byakuya questioned without looking away from his work.
"…Well It is Friday, Captain Kuchiki"
"And..?"
"And.. Well … everyone else has left…"
"….And?"
"And! Captain you really shouldn't worry so much about paperwork on a Friday" Renji almost shouted to his indifferent captain. But noticing quickly bowed, "I'm sorry … Captain Kuchiki" . Byakuya glanced up at Renji for a moment, Then turned back to his paper. Renji sighed yet again. "Well… everyone else hopefully finished their work before rushing off… I haven't finished mine yet, So then I need to finish it…. Right Renji?" Byakuya questioned the now annoyed red head. Renji sighed. "I guess your right.. Captain" Renji dropped his head in failure.
Few minutes later Renji sat in a chair across the room from Byakuya, sulking, As Byakuya continued with his paperwork. "Renji…?" Byakuya said softly. Renji perked up "Yes Captain!" He answer quickly and a little excitedly. "You know… It is Friday, I'm sure you have lots of other things you could be doing right now… You don't have to stay here" The noble said, glancing the opposite direction of Renji. "Naw I'm good" Renji answered while putting his hands behide his head. Byakuya turned toward Renji and lifted one eye brow at his lieutenant's horrible grammar skills. "I'm fine … I'll just wait for you to finish your very important work" Renji continued half sarcasm in his voice as he said the last part.
"Oh really?"
Renji glanced over to Byakuya suspiciously.
"Even if it takes all night?" Smirking at Renji while still looking down at his work. Renji glanced sideways for a moment, then turned back towards Byakuya "Course" Renji smirked back
