Welcome to this one-shot of Pantheon and Zoe. I always wondered what the two would do if they ever meet. And I remember reading someones work for a writing competition for LoL. But I thought, what if they got along and didn't fight. So boom this was written.
Finally decided to share it as its been sitting in my files for a while to. Hope you all enjoy!
On an open forest road a lone figured walked. It was clear he was some warrior, his spear was held high and shined in the falling sun's light. His helmet glowed a brilliant gold as the red plume fluttered in the breeze. His dark cape gently fluttered behind him as his armor and shield shone with hundreds of scratches and dents.
Looking at the sky the warrior felt the breeze strengthen. His red eyes stared at the approaching dark clouds before he turned to his right and entered the surrounding forest. Without care for stealth, the warrior marched through the forest until he came upon a large tree. The tree easily stood over a hundred foot. Its roots stuck out of the ground providing small alcoves to hide in.
The warrior went to one of these alcoves and put his sack down. He strapped his shield onto his back underneath his cape and was off again into the woods. He soon returned to his alcove and set up a fire. Reaching into the sack he pulled out a rabbit and began to prepare it to be cooked. As the meat cooked the warrior slowly reached up and took off his helmet. Setting it on the ground, the warrior took out a cloth and began to clean his impeccable helmet.
"I am Pantheon, the Artisan of War. I am-"
"Insane. Yes Pansy everyone knew that already, especially with how much you talk to yourself." A figure said popping out of a purple portal.
"Zoe, what is it that you want?" Pantheon said with a sigh putting his helmet back on.
"You could've left your helmet off Pansy. It is quite clear you don't like wearing it." Zoe said helping herself to the cooking food.
Pantheon stared at Zoe, who was happily munching away on his food, before sighing. He reached up and took his helmet again.
"It's not that I don't like wearing it. I just appreciate the times when I can take it off." Pantheon said taking some of the other food that was still cooking. "You never told me why you decided to come here."
"I just came to say hi." Zoe said before going back to her roasted rabbit meat.
Pantheon just stared at Zoe before his palm met his face.
"I swear on my name, you are the most scattered brain aspect of twilight I have ever met."
"And you love me because of it." Zoe said pouting at Pantheon.
Peeking through his hands he stared at Zoe before closing his eyes and sighing. Zoe pumped her fist into the air as her roast meat stick hung from mouth.
The two just ate in silence listening to the rain fall outside, past their tree's canopy. Soon they were done eating and were just simply staring at the falling rain. Zoe then yawned and jumped from her spot to next to Pantheon. She cuddled up next to the warrior and promptly fell asleep.
Pantheon just sighed and wrapped his cape around the two.
"Sleep tight my little sister."
Zoe smiled and murmured, "Goodnight, big brother."
Pantheon, kept his cape wrapped snugly around Zoe as he stared into the embers.
"I promise Zoe, the innocence that you represent will never fade into the twilight. I swear upon my name that I will protect you. War is fought for the innocence of the future. Without war there can be no innocence, without innocence there can be no war. The sad truths of the world," Pantheon thought as he gently held onto Zoe.
So, how was it? Good? Bad? Something needs work?
