patricide (and the sweet taste of his blood)
~ScreamingPadfoot~
"I regret nothing."
Pansy looked down at the body lying at her feet. Perhaps people would expect to see pity in her eyes, but she didn't feel a single flicker or pity — or of guilt. Her father truly deserved to be lying, lifeless on the cold floor. There was a pool of blood expanding like a halo around his head.
Pansy scoffed. It was ironic really, her father was no angel — far from it.
Even before he'd kidnapped Ginny, her father had always been a malicious bastard. He'd gone a step too far this time, and Pansy had made him pay.
No one hurt the people Pansy loved.
Pansy looked down at the knife now lying on the floor, before raising her hands up. Her pale skin was stained red with blood — globules collecting in the corner of her fingernails. It was oddly satisfying actually, another person's life force colouring her haphazardly in like a child's painting.
"You could have used your wand, idiot."
The Slytherin huffed in annoyance and finally looked up at Ginny. She had come to stand beside Pansy. Her red hair on one side was matted blood, but for someone who'd had just had the shit cruico'ed out of her, she was looking surprisingly bright. Her girlfriend was frowning, mind. She was looking down at the body they now had to deal with and Pansy could almost read the younger witch's mind. No doubt she was already rapidly going through solutions on how to rid themselves of the body, exonerate them of any blame whatsoever should this body be found.
"You had to go for the messy kill." Ginny sighed, running a hand through her hair.
"Fucker deserved it," Pansy muttered. "Are you alright?"
"Am I alright?" Ginny raised an eyebrow, observing Pansy's crazed eyes and slightly manic grin. She couldn't possibly be happy about what she had done. Could she? "Are you alright?"
"Never been better," Pansy replied breezily. She observed the gunk behind her fingernails, and glanced back down at her father's body. "I suppose I should get rid of this mess."
"Honestly, Pansy, you are a nightmare sometimes." Ginny huffed and brandished her wand, vanishing the blood without so much a second thought. "We. We are a we, not two I's."
Pansy's smile faltered as she watched Ginny work. "You don't have to help me. This is my mess."
Ginny moved towards Pansy, and placed a hand on her cheek. Pansy leant into Ginny's palm, closing her eyes briefly. "I knew how impulsive and extreme you were when I decided to start a relationship with you," Ginny replied calmly. "I can handle this. All of this."
Pansy moved forward to press her lips against Ginny's, and Ginny tasted the coppery tang of blood. She kissed her for a moment, before pulling away. Ginny eyed her cautiously for a long moment before cracking a smile and speaking lowly. "You just murdered your father and then kissed me, and honestly, I'm a little scared because this is a bit of a turn on."
"Maybe we should get out of my parent's house," Pansy suggested, her voice low.
Ginny curled a finger around a strand of Pansy's dark hair. "Or maybe we should just go up to your parent's bed," she murmured. Pansy raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"Who knew you were so bad."
