"She would have been 21." Gibbs appeared to be idly surveying the bullpen below.
"Yeah" Tony paused and then laughed softly. "Those teen years would have fun here. McGee doing background checks on her dates, make up tips from Aunt Abby, me telling her all the lines I used to use so she could avoid them..." His voice trailed off as Gibbs turned to stare at him.
Kelly would have loved him, he thought, hell, Shannon would have as well. God knows how things would have played out if they had lived.
"Spoke without thinking, boss."
"It's ok." Oddly enough it was ok, actually more than ok.
