I don't do poetry at all. But after I felt bad for something I did to a friend, this came out. Please read it, even if you don't like poetry. Based on the strife between Yuki and Kyou, and what Tohru means to them.

Stupid cat, damn mouse

On different sides of the Souma House.

One looking in; one looking out

Both wishing the other's place.

Damn mouse, stupid cat

A raging temper and a prince of all brat.

Mouse fighting out; cat fighting in

Both rejecting their own fate.

Souma Yuki, Souma Kyou

Each day that passed let their torment grow.

Until Honda-san Tohru came into their lives

Each boy found a greater meaning.

Their place in life through her eyes was shattered.

She showed them the truth of what really mattered.

Through her their smiles became less false

And they learned without friends and one to care for…

You have nothing.

And Vice Versa.
