Disclaimer: If I owned Wizard101, I wouldn't be writing fanfics about it, now would I? No, in all seriousness, I don't know if I need one or not, so… better safe than sorry. I don't own Wizard101.

Tu Luk Kwo and Mossback looked on as the young girl tried to head up the hill towards the infected villagers. She had started on a good note, leaving quickly for her quest, a trait Tu Luk Kwo admired about the young.

"Ah, so eager and quick, these young ones are," Tu Luk Kwo thought.

Then the girl seemed to hit an end. You see, on the path to the infected villagers, there were two grassy paths one could take. On the left, there was a tiny crop of diseased mushrooms that were blocking the way, while there was nothing blocking the path on the right.

Tu Luk Kwo and Mossback watched as the girl hit the mushrooms and was bounced back. They continued to look on as she got back up and charged the mushrooms again. This time she got bounced backwards with such force that it made Mossback wince.

Tu Luk Kwo whispered to Kaili Liu who was standing next to him, "This young one realizes that she indeed has another path she can take, correct?"

Kaili Liu whispered back, "I'm not exactly sure, sir, but would it not be prudent for one of us to tell her?"

Tu Luk Kwo turned towards the girl, ready to shout out that she had another path that could be traveled, but it looked as though the girl had already realized it herself. With a small "oh", she ran to the path on the right and followed it until she could be seen no more.

Mossback looked down towards Tu Luk Kwo and Kaili Liu. The same thought ran through their heads. Of course they had been brought up well enough to know that one should never underestimate others, but each of them could help but think, this was their hero destined to save Mooshu?

So yeah, this idea came to me while I was playing Wizard101 and just couldn't remember that I really couldn't cross with those mushrooms in front of me. I kept glitching myself and after a while I thought, what would the NPCs (Non Playable Characters) think if they could react?
