Love lost, Love Found
Severus Snape was always grouchy
ever since his internal ouchy
Lily Evans had been so rough
That Severus became so tough
It was not something he liked to remember
It made his heart feel oh so tender
So now he is an eternal mope
And he feels like such a dope
Lurking in his dungeon does nothing for his complexion
Losing his love was worse than detention
Lily had chosen young James Potter
Because he was so much hotter!
Her perfection was lost upon the brat
In which Snape had killed James with a bat
Lily had stood, sobbing sadly
Because she was hurt so badly
So sad was she, Severus resurrected that boy Potter,
though twas dark magic and he should of not-ter
James stared at him in disbelief
Not believing Snape had done this after all of James's mis-chief
"I'll never forgive you!" James Potter did yell
And Snape was (almost) dead before the evening bell
He lay upon the floor of the Great Hall in a heap
Big blisters sprouting all over his feet.
Lily came and helped him, feeling badly
For he accepted her help very gladly
"Lily my dear!" James said, "May I have a one time marry?
We shall have a son, who's name shall be Harry!
Right-o, Lily darling! Off we go!"
They left poor Severus sitting in the snow
"Oh boo who!" He cried in sorrow
"I don't think I'll live to see the morrow!"
So up came a young brown eyed girl
And did a dance with a swirl
Around and around they went,
"I love you Severus!" She cried, "To be together we are meant!
A hug from me to you!" Samantha cried.
As they sat together side-by-side
"I may just have met you, but you're the guy
the one guy who makes me cry!"
"I agree! We shall live in happiness! Hooray!
We shall get married and have a par-tay!"
Severus whisked away his child bride
Though the whispers about this union were a blow to his pride
Samantha kept him laughing every hour of every day
With every word she thought to say
They had a family of three
"My child, Severus, and me!"
Holly exclaimed one day with joy
"Though I had hoped for a boy."
Severus quickly forgot the fair Lily
He found his childhood crush rather silly.
He became the best Potions teacher
Creating solutions to help any injured student and creature
So proud of her husband
Samantha bought a large plot of land
A place for Severus to hang his hat
In addition to their daughter, Samantha bought him a cat.
And they lived happily ever after
What others said did not seem to matter!
