I was walking in Traverse Town when I saw a wounded creature laying on the sidewalk. I ran over to the small creature, feeling for a pulse. Nothing. I picked up the small body and popped a small pill into it's mouth. It sort of swollowed and blinked it's huge yellow eyes at me. It... was a heartless. I cradled the small bundle and name him Rikky. This was how I got my second pet and this was the begining of the end of him aswell.
One Month Later In Traverse Town!
I was playing fetch with Rikky when it happened, he was getting rambunctious and he acidentally pushed me and next thing I knew I was in a freefall. Everything whent black and the next thing I noticed when I came to was, well it felt like I was floating but I also felt two strong arms underneath me. I tried to blink but I couldn't move. The person set me down on a bed and I opened my eyes but soon felt myself drifting away again. I looked up to see a tall broad guy in lots of leather, staring straight into my grey eyes. "Wh-who are you?" I asked looking at the guy. " I am Leon. Squall Leonheart. And you are?" he asked sitting down."I am Xaine and this is- Where did Rikky go?!" I stood up in alarm only to fall down hard on the ground. "Owwww!" I said rubbing my...bandaged wrist and ankle?! "The heartless is gone and you. You broke your ankle and you wrist. Take it easy." And with that said he left the room after helping me up on the bed. " I need to get out of here, but how come he helped me? Nobody from the Organization would have helped me they know I fall all the time." I said to myself. from the kitchen I heard a shout saying "Don't even think of leaving girl!!" I growled quietly and said "My name is NOT girl! It's Xaine by the way!" I smiled for I truely think I could get along with him he seemed like that kind of guy. This was the way it went for 3 weeks, but now I stood up and opened a portal to The World That Never Was and hopped through it dropping a note that said "Dear Squall or Leon, thank you for taking care of me. That was truely kind but now I must leave you with three last words, I love you. Signed Xaine" I was back to the Superior's office in .327 seconds. "XAINE! Where have you been?!" Superior yelled grabbing me by the shoulders. "I-I fell off of a building and broke my ankle and wrist. Rikky was killed and a guy named Leon helped me!" I replied trying to shake the taller man off. He brought his face in close to mine and said "Xaine, you know I hate it when you run off, we just wouldn't be Organization XIII if you weren't around!" It disgusted me of why he liked me so much. I hated him to Hades and I wish I could set the Hounds Of Hell on him sometimes, OK most of the time. I shoved him off and said "Well I'm back now I'm going to go find some one!" With that said I ran off.
I walked up to Marluxia's room and knocked, I heard sobbing as the door clicked open. "Yes...Holy Kingdom Hearts!! Xaine your alive! Saix said you died!" Marlu said hugging me untill I couldn't breathe. "Saix huh? Deal with it later...Hey Marlu! I broke my ankle and wrist! Cool huh?!" I said laughing. Then I remembered something that Marlu said. "Marly don't use the name of Kingdom Hearts in vain!" I said mocking Vexen and his stupid laugh. We both laughed and then I was sure life was back to normal, maybe.
