A/N: Okay, so basically in English Miss is making us do practice exams for our exams in June. One of the exams is to describe like a snapshot of a story, which I hate btw becase I tend to want to carry on writing, it's bad. Anyway, this is what I came up with and had twenty-five minutes to write it, so it's pretty shirt, and apparently it's only meant to be a page long and written this is nearly a page and a half. Anyway, I got a B for this so I really shouldn't complain.
Anyway, to me this fits with Addison and Archer quite well I reckon, so I'm going to base it on them, but it could be anyone really, but it screams them at me. So please, read and review, they mean a lot to me.
Enjoy
The road was long and wide and empty of any presence but mine. The cool night air breezed past the trees, rustling the leaves together, sending an eerie chill into the air. The moon was bright and slowly making it's way behind a cold grey cloud. This was the country side at night and soon all would be dark once the moon disappeared. Trees cast shadows as they swayed, blocking the moonlight.
The ground was cold and hard, full of dust and dirt from all the cars and trucks that travelled up and down. Animals trotted from once field to another, leaving their mark somehow, causing the ground to become uneven.
I lay curled into a tight ball on the cold ground as I tried not to move as every time I did I screamed in agony as I jolted my broken arm which lay limp in front of my cheat. My hair was pulled back into a messy ponytail with a few strands stuck to my tear stained face. I just knew that was a hole in each knee of my blue jeans after my tumble off of my bike. I could feel I had grazed my right elbow and blood was slowly being soaked up by my orange jumper. I knew my body was covered in dirt as I rolled after hitting the ground and I could feel more tears rolling own my cheeks.
The only noise on the road was the sound of wheels rolling before I tumbled and the noise of my small body rolling filled the air. I heard my bones crack as soon as they hit the ground and my scream must have woken all the animals from their slumber. The road became quiet once again apart from the soft whimpers I gave like a baby kitten searching for it's mother.
I lay on the road feeling like I was there all night before I heard the sound of a bike being paddled fast towards me and I looked up to see my big brother skid to a halt and jump of his bike like a rabbit hoping away before he rushed towards me and the road didn't feel as lonely anymore. I gave another soft whimper before he pulled me into his arms and took me home to safety, and the comfort of our parents.
