*Takes place when Peter and Charlotte are talking to Jasper in Breaking Dawn part 2*

Alice looked over at her husband and two of his closest friends. She was grateful that they had been there for him when she couldn't.

Peter and Charlotte look back to Jasper after looking at Alice.

"Thank you once again for coming and helping my family," Jasper tells his friends from his past.

"Really it was no big deal. You've helped us so much it was time to return the favor," Peter said reassuring Jasper.

"I just can't believe we've met up again. After we split up I never thought I'd see either of you. I thought I was just going to be lost," Jasper sighs as he runs his hand through his hair.

Charlotte laughs, "Well it looks like you found a pretty good family for yourself right here," as she ushers to the Cullens.

Jasper looks at his family. He knows none of this would have been possible without his little pixie. Jasper's unaware of how long he is staring until Peter taps his shoulder.

"You're lucky Jas. We all are. We got out of Maria's grasp right in time. I heard almost right after we left a new army came in and wiped pretty much everything out."

"Maria," Jasper growls, "She was such a monster making others do her dirty work. I'm glad I've found another way."

Charlotte puts her arm around Peter and chuckles. "Yeah I'm still not sure how you do it Jas. We've tried and we just can't do it."

"Trust me it's not without struggle," Jasper sighs, "sometimes even the best of us slip up, but our family will always support us in everything we do. Even when we mess up we know that were still loved."

Peter looks around at the rest of the vampires still in Forks. "Man Jas we miss you though. We want you to come back with us."

A pained expression washes over Jasper's features. "I miss you guys too. I really do. I just can't leave my family. They truly are amazing especially my Alice."

"No No No," Charlotte explains," She can come to. Then you won't be lonely anymore. We can go back to the South and give Maria what she truly deserves."

"Peter, Charlotte," Jasper starts, "I appreciate everything you guys did for me. You helped me leave that monster. You helped me after we left. You even helped me start my journey to find my Alice. You guys were my family before I even realized what family was and I'll never be able to repay you for that, but I can't leave. I just can't. Alice would follow me if I left but we just got back, our family would be crushed."

Charlotte smiles "You truly love that girl don't you."

Jasper gives a full laugh. "Love doesn't start to describe it. She's my angel who brought me back from Hell. She is my personal sunshine and I would do anything for her. I would follow her anywhere and I know she knows that. Before I met her I wasn't even aware that I was looking for something, but as soon as I saw her I felt like everything I searched for in my life was found. I know if we left she would never truly be happy anymore. She loves this life too much and I could never bear to take that away from her. This is the only family she's ever had and if she is upset, I would be upset."

Alice skipped over to her love and cuddles up to his side. "You guys should come back and visit more often. I can see how happy you two make him."

Peter and Charlotte look at each other, look at Alice, and finally lastly at Jasper.

"Yeah we can see what makes him happy," Peter said "Goodbye Jasper. We'll be back soon I can tell you that much."

And with that the two vampires took off and Jasper smiled to himself thinking about how glad his two old friends understood just how important his favorite girl meant to him.

Alice looked up at Jasper "I'm glad you had them before I found you."

"Yeah they're glad I found you too," Jasper told his wife as he took her over to his family.
