Hi everybody! This is my vision on the famous quote; 'if you love someone, let them go...' -and of course my vision would be about bade :). I wrote this a few months back and suddenly I just felt like posting it. I hope you'll like it!

Disclaimer; I obviously don't own Victorious.

Jade.

I had been waiting in his apartment for hours before he finally came home. He didn't even flinch when he saw me. He just sighed. I wasn't sure whether it was a relieved sigh, or an annoyed one. Probably a little bit of both.

"What are you doing here?" He asked. "I missed you." I told him. "No you didn't. You ran out of money." He said bitterly. I looked into his eyes. "True. But I did miss you." I said. And it was the truth. He sighed again. "I missed you too."

"I know." I said. He sat down next to me. "But you can't keep doing this to me." He said. "You can't just, stay with me for a couple of weeks, and then disappear for months without a word. Only to come back when you need me. It's killing me." His voice was tired. Hurt. And I felt terrible to know that it was my fault.

"You have to make a decision this time. Either you stay with me, or you leave. It's your choice. But this time, it has to last. I can't do this anymore." I kept silent for a moment. "I'll always love you." I told him then. "Love you more." he whispered. I knew. That was our problem.

"I want you to stay." he whispered. "I know." I said. "But I can't." I looked into his eyes, and I saw the light inside them die. "I know." He whispered.

He let go of my hands. I stood up, and walked out of the apartment. Out of his life. But this time, it would be for good.

This would be the last time I'd hurt him.

Beck.

When I walked in, I saw her sitting on my couch. I was relieved she was back. She was alive. She was safe. But I also feared for my heart. I was tired of having it broken by her, every time again.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. "I missed you." She said. No matter how much I wanted to believe that, I couldn't. "No you didn't. You ran out of money." I said. She looked into my eyes. "True. But I did miss you." I only hoped she was speaking the truth. "I missed you to." I said.

"I know." She said. I went to sit down next to her. This had to stop. "But you can't keep doing this to me." I said. "You can't just, stay with me for a couple of weeks, and then disappear for months without a word." I took a deep breath. "It's killing me." I was tired of worrying about her. Crying over her. I was tired of this sick ritual we had developed.

"You have to make a decision this time. Either you stay with me, or you leave. It's your choice. But this time, it has to last. I can't do this anymore." She didn't answer me right away. "I'll always love you." She said after a while. "Love you more." I told her.

"I want you to stay." I whispered. "I know." She looked me in the eyes. "But I can't." I felt something inside of me die, even though I had known what she was going to say.

"I know." I told her. And I let go of her hands. I let go of her.

And I watched her walking out of my life. And I knew this time, it'd be for good.
