Was it true?
Robin just sat there on the roof watching the sun. It was the anniversary of his beloved Starfire's nearly betrothed and coronation. Everyone was celebrating with Star but Robin just sat at the edge of the roof alone. The others all were downstairs celebrating. As he was remembering what had happened that day, his mind drifted off. So, he didn't notice Star approach him. Everyone was chatting or playing so they didn't notice that two titans were missing. For Raven, playing usually meant knocking Beast Boy's head with her powers or something painful yet unbreakable. Like, ohhh, for example….Cyborg?
"Friend Robin? Are you okay? Why are you not participating in to festivities with us?"
Robin's mind, still away, simply said,"Just thinking Star….of you." He added.
"How I could have lost you and all my chances of being with you that day. I could have lost all my chances of telling you how much I loved you."
There was silence for awhile. Just the distant sound of knocking in the background. On occasion waves could be heard. Then Robin's mind snapped back into place and he realised what he had just said.
"Ummm.I meant the team could have lost you and a.l.l. the chances of being-"he slowed," You don't believe me, right?"
Silence. Star just there watching the sun fall.
"Was it true?"
"I guess you should know the truth….Star,… Yes it was all true. Every single word. I...I... love you. Since the day I met y-"he was stopped by Starfire's lips crashing down on his mouth. He was shocked at first, but soon enough he kissed back. The kiss was heated and fiery. (keep on imagining) As the kiss ended (it was French if you want to know) Star said," You don't know how long I've been waiting to hear that. I love you too Robin."
"I love you Star. And forever will" And they kissed again.
