Just a warning I am Dyslexic so my stories will not be perfect, this story is not yet beta'd.

Hello!

This is a little poem I've written in support of this years race for life :)

I really do think Lory would support all the good cause you know?

Yours

Hope you enjoy.

I do not own Skip Beat.

Lory looked down at the piece of paper before him, it was a little rough around the edges and a little tag eared, but it was the one piece of paper that had been passed through so many different hands to get here. The piece of paper his secretary had passed him with teary eyes and a smile that said it was gold and now reading it Lory realised it was.

This piece of paper had come from the cancer care centre in Tokyo, it had been written by a young nurse who had simply as she put it wrote down what the most beautiful creatures had told her and reading it Lory couldn't help but smile for the beauty and innocence of childhood making something as horrid a gruesome as cancer into a good thing.

Looking at the paper again he read the words for what seemed like the 100th time

The real superheroes!

My Daddy is a superhero!

Though he doesn't wear a cape,

He kick the biggest evil,

for mine and mommy's sake.

My Mommy is a superhero!

She can't fly or see through walls,

but know she's beat the villain

she can run, play, kick balls.

My Nanny is a superhero!

Though she doesn't hit or fight,

she beat that big bad monster,

so now she can squeeze and hug me tight.

My Granddad is a superhero!

He can't run fast or travel through time,

though now he beat the bad guy,

he can read and kiss me goodnight.

My Auntie is a superhero!

Though she doesn't stretch or flex,

she beat the evildoer,

she still blows the bubbles best.

My Uncle is a superhero!

He doesn't change his form or the tide,

he beat fiend that plagued him,

he always knows the best places to hide.

My sister is a superhero!

Although she's only three,

My sister is a superhero!

She gave her special blood to save me.

Yes Lory decided, this was the winner. The winner of the competition for a full tour and visit to LME and he would not only be inviting the kind young nurse who had written down the poem, but also her beautiful young creatures who had their own superhero's. Pressing the buzzer for his secretary Lory smiled one day they would find a way to make everyone a superhero, but until then they would celebrate the super legends that didn't make it and push forwards for a better tomorrow.

Lot's of my friends are doing race for life this year

and with a very young baby it would be difficult for me to participate,

so I'm showing my support in the best way I can!

Lets make every cancer patient a superhero!
