Law of the cards

welcome back my loyal subjects, as you can see i've again started another story. First of this story is completely original. I say this because it is based on two other things. The real-life card game ascension, and fairy tail episode 210. now my loyal subjects, I hope you'll enjoy this new story.
Chapter 1 The finale.
Welcome one and all, to the final day of the 49th law of the cards tournament. I am Ronan with my brother Dylan, and Elmi Riare the winner of the last tournament. But today we have all joined together for the final battle of this tournament, let's introduce today's contestants. On the right we have Alex mialn, winning every battle she was in, she shall be a formidable opponent for Peter Sialam. Who last time almost won agains our champion. Do you have something to say about this match Mr Elmi?" The lead commentator Ronan told the crowd.
"Yes actually I do Mr Ronan, but first I would like to thank you for having me here. But about this matchup, having seen Peter's power in the game personally, I can tell you that he is very powerful. And there is a large chance he will win this battle. Although I have followed this year's tournament on television, and have seen that Alex is also powerful, so I would say that they're evenly matched. And with that i'll give the word back to you Mr Ronan." Elmi told the crowd
"Alright then, now i'll explain the rules of the game for those thet don't know, them or forgot. Now then in the game of card law, each player has three life points. You must use your cards to defend your own life points, and get rid of the ones of your opponent by attacking them. Your opponent can not be attacked as long as they have monsters on their side of the field. Now then there are also four types of cards, create cards, monster cards, field cards and effect cards. Create cards supply a constant effect as long as they are active, monster cards simply summon a monster, field cards change the field that the match takes place on, and effect cards give a single effect which is only active when you use it. Also if your opponent loses a life point it instantaniously ends your turn. And with that out of the way, LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!" Ronan yelled.
"Well then you heard the commentator, let's begin."

Alex spoke looking through her cards. Before putting one on the field and speaking up again. "first i'll use this void field card, to change the field into the void field type. Doing so allows me to summon the void guardian. A powerful monster with 10,000 attack points." with this the void guardian, a large shadowy creature with multiple golden rings around it's body appeared on one of the rocks floating in the void field. Which I can use to directly attack you as you have no monsters. And with that her turn ends

"Hmm that she was able to use that void guard on her firs turn, impressive." Dylan the other commentator spoke up "but back to the game. It seems that Peter was able to get, and activate a complete summon create card. Allowing him to summon special monster cards like the void guardian on all field types."
"Now prepare to fall Mialn!" Peter yelled across the arena, "With my complete summon I can now summon the starlight giant. Which is normally only available on starlight field, and can attack an opponent even if they have monsters on their side." with that the starlight giant rushed forward to attack alex. And ended the turn

"This match has already been extremely close matched up to this point. With both contestants, having taken one life point of the other." Elmi spoke to the crowd as a slight recap.
"alright, my turn." Alex spoke to no one in particular. "now then, let's continue shall we. Then first i'll summon the forgotton colossus. A monster with 50.000 attack points, which also doubles the attack points of aal of my other monsters. At this point that is only the void guardian, which now has 20.000 attack points." Alex explained to the crowd what she was doing, While thinking of her next move.
"This is amazing, Alex has just deactivated Peter's complete summon, which leaves him without any monsters since without that card he cannot use the starlight giant anymore. And she just also put up her own create card. The power shield, which puts up a barrier around her until it's deactivated. and used her void guardian to activate it." dylan told the crowd.
"And as the finale, i'll have my starlight guardian attack you!" Alex yelled ending her turn.

"This battle is already intense. Alex has just left Peter open by removing all monsters, from his side of the field. But knowing him. He already planned that that would happen and devised a counter for it." Ronan recapped what just happened.
"you are right with that, I did already have a plan for this outcome." Peter said to the commentators while placing a card. "now then first i'll use this hyper energy card which takes one life point from my opponent while ignoring all her monsters and card effects. Also it doesn't end my turn." Peter explained leaving them tied at 1 life point each.
"And after having used his hyper energy card, Peter summoned the void god, automaticaly defeating his opponents void guardian card. And deactivating her barrier, then he used it to attack his opponent ant take her final life point, which ends the game and makes him the winner of this match and this tournament." Elmi Spoke to the crowd about what happened in the fina moments of this match.
Then ronan and Dylan, the commentators walked into the arena from one of the two entrances, one holding a trophy and the other holding a card. Then dylan spoke up "You have done well to win this tournament Peter Sialam for that you earn this tropy." and with that he handed Peter the throphy. Which whas made of gold with gems put in it and at the top there was a small card made of platinum with the word winner carved into it.
"We also want you to have this." ronan said, handing Peter the card he was holding. "This is the grand finale card, if you manage to activate it, it has the potential to immediately end the match. It is that powerful. But if you violate the rules of this game, it will be taken from you, do you understand?!"
"Yes I do sir. And I thank you for letting me be in this tournament." Peter said walking out.
Then after Ronan and Dylan had gotten back up to their post, Dylan spoke up one last time. "This was the final match of the 49th law of the cards tournament, we hop to see you all again in the 50th tournament in five years. But until then, goodbye."

well I hope you all liked that, as this tooke me the better part of this month to write. I'm hoping to get something else out in this month, but I can't guarantee that it will, since I got Xenoblade chronicles 2 this chrismas. And let me tell you, I am hooked. But until next time I wish you a belated happy christmas and until the next story/chapter.
