What a day in New York Cities Central Park. The sun was shining. The birds were chirping. A man was sitting on a bench in the hot warm sun. How he hated it. His thick black hair covered his glaring yellow eyes, so that whenever someone looked, they would think of it as a normal person having a bad day. That is completely wrong. Sueth was not, how you say, "normal", but he was human looking none the less. He was a vampire. Nearly 700 years old, Sueth looked just over eighteen. Getting annoyed by the suns piercing rays, Sueth got up and walked toward his apartment. "How can I stand the suns rays like this?" Sueth thought quietly, raising his head to look near, not at the sun. As he got to his apartment, he was glad he was home. When he opened the door to his room, a cool scent of lavender filled the air. The walls were decorated with bloodstains from past meals, but Sueth did not look at them in disgust. As Sueth was remembering previous feedings, the phone rang. "Strange," he thought, for he had not paid the phone bill in 2 years. As he picked up the phone and a strange voice said "Hello."
