Leave It to Yue!

Disclaimer: I don't own the Cardcaptor Sakura franchise, or any of its characters. I gain nothing from this piece, other than some short-lived self-entertainment regarding my favourite characters.

[A/N: This is so nostalgic, you know, writing CCS fanfiction again after so many years! Hopefully my writing has improved since the last time I've been here, ahahaha… Please enjoy, and be sure to leave me a review~]

The bright yellow bubble letters bounced across the screen, the cheerful music signalling the start of yet another installment of the special after-show segment, "Leave It To Kero-chan!"

However, as the intro scene faded away and the set came into focus, the guardian of which greeted the audience's sight was not the usual golden sun beast, but rather a pale, slender moon being. Yue elegantly leaned an elbow against the small podium, looking thoroughly unamused.

There was an awkward beat of silence before Spinel hesitantly propped up his notebook. Um, what are you doing here…?

Yue sighed, crossing his arms over his chest. Not even trying to hide his exasperation, the moon guardian explained, "Keroberos foolishly ate twenty cupcakes in one sitting, and is now down with a stomachache. Even in such a condition, though, he still wouldn't stop pestering me until I agreed to cover this segment for him."

Suppi sweatdropped heavily, not knowing how to respond to that.

Yue didn't wait for his reply, however, as he briskly turned to face the screen behind him and started to narrate the contents of the episode. "Today we will be taking a look at Tomoeda Middle School, of which the Mistress currently attends."

As the scenery of the school building was displayed one by one, Yue named off each of the rooms accordingly. "This is the Mistress' homeroom class… This is the music room… The courtyard... The art room…"

Tap-tap-tap! Spinel hurriedly scribbled onto his notebook. Could you maybe sound a little more enthusiastic?

Even though he knew better than anyone just how annoying the overly-chipper tones of Kero's voice could be, Suppi couldn't help but feel that the deadpan of Yue's narrative seemed just a bit too much of a contrast with his counterpart's usual energy.

But the moon guardian didn't seem to pay Spinel much attention, instead carrying right along with his blunt tone of narration. "The science lab... The home economics room... And the cafeteria."

Once Yue had finished listing off all the scenes, he swerved his unimpressed gaze back towards the camera. "That is all for this episode. I'll be changing back now."

"Eh!? W-wait!" Yue's sudden initiative startled Spinel so much that he didn't even have time to write down his protests, instead diving behind the notebook to try and hide himself from the emerging Yukito.

As two large, feathery wings started to wrap themselves around Yue's form, he shot the camera one last wry glance before appreciatively retiring into the subconscious recesses of Yukito's mind… for some well-deserved slumber, of course.
