We were having a Halloween party at our house. I was a ghost, Soda was a banana, Two Bit was a pumpkin monster, and Steve was a vampire. Darry was… well, Darry. He just sat in a chair, reading the newspaper.
I walked over to him and said, "Hey, are you going to do anything? Or are you just going to sit here?" He looked up at me.
"Nope, I'm good."
"Don't you ever want to have ANY fun at all?"
"Its okay, Ponyboy. You guys can go have your fun." I just shrugged and walked over to the couch to talk to Sodapop and Steve.
Then Two Bit came behind us and screamed, "BOO!" All three of us rolled our eyes.
Soda said, "Sorry, Two Bit. It didn't work this time."
"Awww, man," Two Bit complained. We just laughed. Then we played games and ate snacks. I sat back down on the couch with Steve and Soda.
Then after about ten minutes, I heard a voice scream, "Boo!" Behind us.
"Cut it out, Two Bit. You can't scare us," Steve said.
"What? I'm over here," Two Bit said. He was standing in front of us. Then we turned around and saw someone in a Grim Reaper costume. We couldn't see whose face it was. Or… was it a costume? We looked at each other and then back to the Grim Reaper. Then we screamed and beat it out of there. The Grim Reaper chased us for about five minutes when, he pulled off the hood to reveal…
