Danny and Lindsay were enjoying a nice walk around the park after dinner. This went on till they saw Don and Jessica.
" Look, there is Flack and Angell! Lets follow them. " Danny said.
" And why would we do that? " Lindsay smiled, amused.
" I dunno, maybe we could have a bet."
" All right, whats the bet? "
" You chose."
" Fine. I saw Flack looking at rings the other day when we had that murder in jewelry shop. I bet you 10 bucks that he is going to ask her to marry him. "
" You're on. Bet you he won't."
" You'll just have to wait and see won't you? "
"Don, can you stop that? You know, muttering under your breath." Asked Jess.
"Sorry, I'm nervous."
"What? I'm not going to bite you."
"No but… Damn… I had the perfect speech planned out and I forgot all of it. Crap, forget about it, you will fall asleep before I finish."
"Sorry Don, but I'm nearly asleep asleep already." Teased Jess.
Don not hearing Jess's last remark knelt down at Jesscia's feet and said "Jessica Angell, will you marry me?"
"Yes" She screamed. A couple near them started to applaud. Both of them were blushing so hard that it would be hard to tell the difference between them and a strawberry.
"We have to tell the others tomorrow, you know." Said Don.
"To be honest, I don't think we need to, look behind you."
When Don turned around and saw Lindsay grinning from ear to ear standing next to Danny, who still couldn't get over the fact that he lost $10 to Lindsay/
"Congrats guys." Said Lindsay.
"Flack, why did you have to ask her today? You made me lose 10 bucks to Montana." Whined Danny.
"Blame yourself, did you forget the number one rule? Never bet against a countrygirl." Mocked Flack
