He found her starved and half dead in the dessert under the moon light. He would have thought her a fallen goddess with how lovely she looked upon the sand, the white tendrils of her hair a luminescent crown around her head and raw power thrumming under her skin.
Her power had called to him, a siren's pull, something he felt no need to suppress and he had brought her back to his hide out with him.
She has a great power within her, something he plans to use.
For now though he buys his time. He brings her back meals and tales of his adventures, as she hides in the corner and tries to find an escape. Foolish girl. He plans to own all of her; her power, her loyalty, her heart. Everything she is will belong to him and he will use it in his plans against the pharaoh.
He wraps her in fabrics and places gold around her throat. He grins at her attempts of conversation and makes light of the deeds he commits- for her-he offers his possessions, and he spins a sad tale of his life and sweet lies of his feelings for her.
He coaxes her to his side with faux smiles and meaningless promises. And in the end after his lips are on her throat, fingers wound in her hair…
He dreams of a dragon's wrath and fire raining down from above.
