It's my first story on FanFiction ever! Sorry for the short chapter but that's ok...

Give me at least SOME credit.

Kimeni and Lanae were born on March 23 on a beautiful spring day at 8:05 in the morning. Karen could hear birds chirping outside the hospital bedroom after having the two girls. It was a perfect time for children to be born. A few days later, she thought about what had happened. Had her wonderful "gift" failed her for once?

The father of the two newborns was Ronald Wilson, called Ron for short. He had recently graduated from law school and was now working in Albuquerque as a lawyer. Before law school, he worked as a police officer, having dropped out of college because of his brother's decision that he thought should be different than his own. Karen made him rethink about what he had done and he decided to go back to school. He didn't regret it.

Karen wasn't expecting to have twins. She was supposed to have only one child - the child that always appeared in her mind to help her make those life or death decisions, making sure that Karen lived so that child could be born. Karen Wilson had psychic powers in her mind. She could see what was happening to someone or where a person she knew was. She discovered this mental talent when she was eighteen, helping solve three cases of missing children without being able to control it. Now, after five years she was able to control her psychic abilities to many levels.

Yet she didn't understand – since her sudden discovery of the "gift" – why she had been seeing only one child, one with bright blue eyes and blonde hair, in her mind. She gave birth to two. Ron's rare, bright blue eyes that had been passed down his family for generations were passed on to Kimeni. She had her mother's beautiful blonde hair starting to grow up from her shiny bald head. It seemed as if she were the child that Karen had been dreaming about.

Lanae was different from the start. As soon as she was born, right after her sister, her black hair was already growing on her partially bald head. When she opened her eyes, they were two different shades of green. One eye was a spring color and the other one was a dark deep sea green.

Karen looked lovingly at both girls from her chair. No matter how they looked like, they were her beautiful children. She wouldn't sacrifice them for anything at all.

So how'd you like it? Review on what I should improve on or what was unclear.
