Thoroughly tired of anything that had to do with pyromania, her half sister, and a bucket full of water balloons, Max was reaching for a towel in the hall when she heard muted voices coming from the living room. She distinctly remembered Fang saying something about watching a movie, and even if it was a figment of her imagination, decided it would be a pretty awesome idea right now.

"Hey, Fang." Max stopped inside the doorway, looking from Fang to the large screen with men in funny red capes and minimal clothing and wondering if this was a dare with Iggy or if he'd finally lost his crackers. "What are you watching?"

He glanced at her, smirking. "Three words. This. Is. Sparta."

The girl grinned, immediately brightening despite feelings of revenge, damp clothes, and the smell of singed hair. "Can I watch?"

"If you don't mind blood, violent scenes, adultery, and don't talk during intense battle scenes."

"Okay!" She chirped, dropping the towel and flopping down next to him on the couch. He glanced her way, shifting a little on the couch to hide the grin she always managed to coax out of him. "What part are we at?"

He gave her a look that clearly read, why don't you watch and find out, but she flashed a smile in a very Nudge like way and he had to bite his lip, still hiding.

"King Leonidas just kicked the Persian into the pit. They're assembling troops now."

An hour later, she was leaning up against his shoulder with her feet propped on the arm of a chair and making… interesting comments about the Persian armor and fighting forces. Despite his best tries, he couldn't help but grin at them even if she was talking in the middle of a prime example of 'intense battle scene'. He leaned his head against hers, raven on brown, and didn't even mind that by the time the movie was over, she had narrated the entire thing.
