Just out of curiosity, she was reading a magazine. The title says, how to tell if a guy is into you? There were various questions and answers. If your crush maintain eye contact more than five seconds, that means he is interested. Do you catch him looking at you? If so, then he definitely likes you.

"I wonder if any of these are true?" She said to no one in particular. Misaki puts the magazine away. The shop was empty since it was late.

"I'm back," Kai walked through the card capital's double doors.

"Welcome," Misaki greeted him.

"Kai …"

"Yes?" He stopped in his tracks, and then he looked at her.

"Here," she handed him a gift.

Misaki never given a gift to a boy before, she felt nervous. It took her months to complete a knitted scarf. She had to admit that it was a tad long; nonetheless she hopes that he likes it. Her heart skipped a beat, just thinking about him.

She was lost in her thoughts, by the time she looked up; he was already wearing the blue scarf. It looked warm and cosy.

"Did you make it?" He asked. She nodded shyly in response.

"I'm impressed. I truly appreciate it," he said with a smile.

"You're welcome."

"What do you think?" She asked. Without answering, he kissed her on the cheek, which made her blush. "Why?" She touched her cheek, where he kissed her.

"I couldn't resist," he gave her a mischevious grin. She almost fell off her chair, thanks to her quick reflex, she didn't.

Seeing a playful Kai was different. For a second, she had forgotten something crucial. What was it?

"Remember we're dating," he looked so proud as he said that.

That's true that we are seeing each other, I can't believe I've almost forgotten about it. I blame him.

"I bet that kiss made you forget," he chuckled softly.

"It's your entire fault," her cheeks gotten warm as she folded her arms.

"Have I mentioned you look adorable?"

She surprised him when she ran upstairs to her room. Misaki quickly hid under the duvet. Why do I feel suddenly shy around him? He went after her.

Kai knocked on her bedroom door. "Misaki, can I come in?" When there is no answer, he slowly opened the door. He sees her hidden under the duvet.

"I guess I have to kiss my sleeping beauty in order to wake her," he said in a teasing manner.

"Don't you dare," she was blushing madly. Kai sat beside her on the bed.

"I promise I'll stop teasing you." His face lit up when he saw her poke her head out of the duvet.

"You do realise that this is the first time you went into my room?"

"Yes it is my first time here," he found himself blushing.

"I love you Misaki," he caressed her cheek fondly. He looked shocked when she hugged him from behind. She rested her head on his back. He's so warm.

"I love you too."

He unravels the garment from his neck. The scarf was long enough for two people. He carefully wrapped it around their neck.

"Just so you know, you mean everything to me Toshiki." He smiled warmly at his significant other.

Soon they fell asleep in each other's arms.
