Amidst the Floating Lights

Walking side by side, Mao reach for Dai-chan's hand and in return the other guy hold his lovingly.

"I love you" he said endearingly as his eyes crinkle in a smile.

"And I love you too" Dai-chan replied lovingly to the angel who completely stole his heart.

Suddenly, bright, sparkling lights floated around them, illuminating the place they're in and making Mao's eyes widen in surprise before turning into a beautiful, wide smile.

"Kirei" he commented as he let his eyes wander around and into the lantern lit sky. Dai-chan's vision though never leaves Mao's figure and is etching every moments that they're together.

"What is it?" the younger of the two curiously asked when he realize that his lover was looking at him.

"Nothing. I'm just so happy to be with you here, to hold your hands in mine and to see you smiling like that." the older whispered contentedly, smiling at the expression of his beloved who resembles a child given a box full of sweets (though he knows how those beautiful eyes sparkle more in that situation, he laughs), just by seeing the scenery which enfolds before them at that time.

"Me too. And I've missed you every second when we're apart." the younger admitted shyly, looking at his side to hide his blush.

"Mao..." his baritone voice softly called him and when the other turned his gaze, Daisuke tugged at their entwined hands, pulling the other and making their lips sweetly meet.

Not minding the crowds around them, the couple share a few seconds touching each other lips, smiling whenever they part and laughing in the end.

'We'll never get enough of each other', both of them thought.

And so they enfolded each other in warm, loving arms, amidst the floating lights, stealing glances of one another whilst whispering I love you and I love you too's.
