A/N: This is dedicated to Blood-Sucker-1428, the author of the amazing Mythea story, 'A First Time For Everything.' Give them a big hand cause it's his/her birthday today! This is set in aFTfE universe, somewhere before Reichenbach falls. Disclaimer: I don't own Sherlock

Sherlock didn't really know what to think of Not-Anthea, Mycroft's brown haired PA who always seemed to be on her phone.

He knew his brother needed a goldfish, that much was obvious.

Also, as much as he disliked his brother it would be a... pity... If he lost his brother's resources... and Mummy would be furious if anything happened to either brother.

Mummy also seemed to like Not-Anthea. He also knew she was hoping for something else, like grandchildren or something along the lines of that. Boring. He wondered if Mycroft knew what Mummy was thinking. He probably didn't. Wonderful, a new way to blackmail his brother.

Another point was that Not-Anthea seemed to remind him of John.

That might explain why she was still around... And maybe Mycroft was developing sentiment in his old age.

Sherlock steadfastly ignored the evidence that he was almost as bad as his brother- John Watson was his best friend.

Sherlock shifted and closed his eyes again, keeping his normal thinking position with folded hands and legs.

Not-Anthea also used A names. Sentiment, again, her original name obviously started with A. Sherlock resisted rolling his eyes- sentiment got in the way nearly every time.

He knew Mycroft was going to keep this one, this Not-Anthea, most likely for a long while. He didn't know what to think of that.

But as John once said with one of those peculiar "normal" sayings,

There's a first time for everything.
