Dan was standing in front of a shop staring at the blue banner for a minute, as it reminded him of Runo ( his crush ).
He sighed, he loved her more than anything in the world, he wanted to let her know his feelings, but he didn't know if she felt the same towards him.
Dan got a call from Julie, he picked up the call.
D- Hey Julie.
J- Dan! You and Runo get your asses to the park right after 15 minutes! Call her and tell her that!
D- What?Why? Where in the park?
J- Near the lake.
D- Ok
J- Bye!
Julie hangs up the call.
Dan calls Runo to the park and hung up without passing further information.
Once she reached there:-
"Hi Dan. Why did you call me here?" Runo says as she walks over to him, with curiosity in her eyes.
"Hi Runo, Julie asked me to call you here...She is also coming here. I have no clue what she wants." Dan said as he saw Runo standing next to him.
"I'm here!" Julie shouted as she ran towards the duo.
"Why did you even call us here?" Dan asked.
"For advice." Julie said
"What?! Julie! We have better things to do than to advice you about dating Billy!" Runo yelled.
"I don't want advice Runo. I want to advice you!" Julie squealed with delight.
"I don't like this..." Dan muttered.
"Me too." Runo said to Dan.
" You both better start dating!" Julie said.
" What!?" Runo and Dan exclaimed.
"You heard me!" Julie said. Runo and Dan had both turned red by now.
"Umm... Julie? Are you sick? " Runo asked.
"Runo come here." Julie said as she steered Runo to the corner. Dan just looked as Runo turned redder as Julie yapped on and on. They came back and Julie took Dan aside.
" Dan ! If you two don't start dating, I will tell her that you like her!" Julie whispered.
"But Julie! What if she doesn't like me." Dan said.
" Well, let me tell you something. She feels the same for you as you do for her." Julie said.
" What?! " Dan said.
" Take her to the movies!" julie said as she dragged Dan back to where Runo was standing.
"You are going to the movies! Tomorrow 6 pm ! Horror movie!" Julie said.
"Wait-" Dan started. He wanted to say that Runo hated horror films.
"I don't like horror!" Runo protested.
"Sorry girlfriend! Tickets are already booked!" Julie said as she handed Dan the 2 tickets and skipped off.
" So... wanna go to the movie?" Dan asked with a blush.
"Sure." Runo answered.
"See you tomorrow." Dan said as he and Runo went separate ways to their homes.
Tomorrow 5:55 PM :-
"Hi Runo!" Dan said as he spotted her.
"Hi." she replied back.
"Lets go!Its late!" Dan said as he caught Runo's hand and took her to their seats. Runo was blushing all the time. When Dan sat down , he noticed what he was doing and blushed more than Runo.
The movie began-
Everytime Runo was scared, she screamed and hugged Dan. He blushed at this. Once the movie ended. Runo heaved a sigh of relief. When she realized she was hugging Dan, she removed her arms which were around him and blushed.
They both then, realized that a comet was passing by the Earth and it will be visible near the park. They both hurried towards the park.
"Another 5 minutes." Dan said as he held Runo's hand. She blushed at this. " Runo, I wanted to tell you that.. I - I love you!" Dan blurted out.
"Runo was shocked, but she smiled and answered. " I love you too, Dan." she replied as they both held hands.
Dan smiled and kissed Runo, she kissed him back. They broke apart 3 minutes later. They gazed into each other's eyes for a minute.
Runo gasped and pointed towards the sky. " Dan look!" she said. Dan looked up and saw the comet sailing across a blanket of stars. It was a beautiful sight.
"That comet comes across Earth only once in a million years." Dan said.
"Guess that is special for us then." Runo said as the two watched the comet sail away.
"Yeah," he answered and kissed her. She kissed him back.
