A Golden Quest
A once lowly peasant who turned into a dark magical imp
he is a man on a journey in search of his long lost son.
At one time he was labeled by his fellow villagers as a wimp
but he would soon gain great power and now feared as the dark one.
Consumed with his thirst for power would soon come with a cost
as the loss of a father's hold of his son's hand would be his ultimate price.
Soon his once warm heart would turn ice cold for what he had lost
and he would turn to the hand of darkness for comfort no matter the sacrifice.
He would suffer more during his transformation with the betrayal of his wife
who decided she didn't want a life of poverty and chose a rogue of the sea.
For the deceitful act she committed he decided it was time to end her double life
by ripping her heart out and crushing it in his hands laughing with sinister glee.
Yet he would continue to allow his vengeance to shower the land from above
by casting dark magic upon those he felt was responsible for his soul's pain.
One day though he would meet a beautiful angel who would show him true love
even though he believed he was incapable of being loved by another again.
She would become his companion along this journey and help him pass the test
of trying to triumph over darkness so he may find his son at the end of his golden quest.
