"What do I do…?"

Yuna looked around helplessly. No one was offering much help. The young blitzball player looked at her earnestly. Yuna looked to Tidus, who laughed.

"Dance with him, Yunie-chan, its only ONE dance! Come on, this IS your birthday, after all."

Yuna gave him a dirty look, eliciting a chuckle from Auron, who was watching from nearby.

With a defeated sigh, she walked off with the deliriously happy blitzer.

Tidus watched as she walked onto the dance floor with him, and gave a wistful sigh.

"Jealous…?" asked a voice from right next to his ear.

Tidus jumped, whirling.

"Auron! Don't DO that, you scared the HELL outta me!"

Auron chuckled again. "Sorry."

Tidus narrowed his eyes. "No you're not, you're just saying that for appearances."

"Maybe I am, but what are YOU going to do about it?"

"Was that a threat?"

The idle banter continued for a while, then Tidus became bored, and wandered outside, onto the balcony of the exquisite palace-like temple. Expectedly, Auron followed him, shaking his head.

"Parties…"

"What's wrong now?"

"They're playing some sort of game : Who can get drunk the fastest without seeming drunk…"

"You could win at that…"

"I quit drinking, remember?"

Tidus had a look of mild shock on his face. "You DID? WHEN? Why didn't anyone TELL me!"

They laughed at the shared joke.

Tidus looked inside, watching Yuna get drunk.

"What's wrong?" Auron followed his gaze. "Oh….Go to her…"

Tidus shook his head. "No…She needs someone who Loves her….Really Loves her…"

"Don't you?"

"I thought I did, once…"

"Tidus…"

He looked at Auron, who looked nervous. "What's wrong?"

"I've wanted to do something, ever since I met you…."

"Ummmm….Ok..?"

Auron leaned down and planted a chaste kiss on his lips. Blushing slightly, he turned and walked away, embarrassed.

Tidus chased after him.

"Hey, AURON! Come here!"

"Sorry about that…"

"Hey, you don't need to apologize….There's something I've wanted to do for a long time, to…"

"And that is…?"

Tidus grabbed his hand, and tugged him into a bedroom."

" I love you, Auron…."

"I……..Love you to…"
