Chapter 1: New home

It had been five years since Quinn was born and it was time for Maria and her little girl to move into their new house with James, James was this guy that Maria met at the park and she had fallen in love with him and they got married at just nineteen.
Quinn had been living at Elmtree House ever since she was born and she loved everyone there, she classed Mike and Gina as grandparents, Tracy as a cool aunt and everyone else as brothers and sisters, apart from Maria, who was her mum and Danielle and Luke, who were her godparents.
But she liked Maci the best, who was about to turn eighteen and had another year at the Dumping Ground.
The new house was a two story with five bedrooms and a study and there was a basement that would be used as a hang out area if any of their friends from the Dumping Ground came over to visit.
Lily was now seventeen, Poppy was eleven now and Rosie was nine, they still lived with Matt and Christy because the couple had adopted the three girls three years ago but they had told them not to call them mum and dad.
Anyway, Quinn's room was pink and had a painting of a unicorn on the wall when she went upstairs to look, her mum and stepdad right behind her.
"Do you like it?" asked Maria as she scooped Quinn up into her arms.
"Yes mummy!" said Quinn as she nuzzled her head into her mother's neck.
