Chapter 1: New friend
Gia was walking down the hallway with her friends, Emma, Noah, Jake and Troy. They were heading to Ernie's ice-cream parlour. They were at the door and were about to leave when Gia stopped. The others looked at her "Gia?" said Emma. Gia looked at her "you guys go on ahead I forgot something, I'll catch up" stated Gia. The others looked at her then agreed and walked off. Gia turned around and ran down the hallway, to the other end and turned right. Gia thought it was stupid but she had a feeling something was wrong. Gia turned right and looked down the hall, Gia saw a hudle of boys and girls freshmen, she thought. She walked down to them and moved a few of them, Gia saw two people, a boy and a girl bullying another girl. "Excuse me but what are you doing?" said Gia, the two turned around to face Gia. "Um... We were just... talking" said the boy, Gia looked at the other one "yeah... talking" said the girl. Gia gave them a glare then the other people "go! Now!" said Gia. They all ran off except for the little girl, Gia saw she was crying and knelt down beside her. "Are you alright?" asked Gia, the little girl looked at Gia "yeah" she rereplied. Gia looked at what she was picking up, it was some books. Gia started to pick them up and then helped the girl up, "what's your name?" asked Gia. "Hannah" replied Hannah. Gia smiled "my name's Gia" said Gia, Hannah looked at Gia excitedly "your Gia Moran, your the one all the boys talk about. You're like famous" said Hannah. Gia looked at her "yeah that's me but think of me as your friend" stated Gia. Hannah looked at Gia "your serious, you're so cool, Gia" said Hannah and Gia just smiled "if something like that happens again, come to me" said Gia. Hannah nodded "okay I'll see you tomorrow" said Gia and she walked off towards Ernie's.
Gia walked into Ernie's and saw her friends and walked over to them "hey" said Gia. The others looked at her "where were you?" asked Jake, Gia looked at him "getting something " replied Gia. "Fine" said Jake. Gia sat down and started talking. They stayed at Ernie's for awhile but went home eventually.
Gia walked through her front doors and was immediately shot at with questions "where were you!" shouted her mother , Gia looked at her "Ernie's" she replied and went upstairs to bed.
Gia woke up, got dressed, had breakfast and started walking to school. Gia got to the front door and as usual she was the first at school so just walked in on her own or so she thought. "Hey Gia " said Hannah, Gia turned around and looked at her " hey Hannah" said Gia. "So how are you today" asked Hannah, "good and how are you " said Gia. "Good. Oh and Gia thanks for yesterday " said Hannah. "No problem, Hannah" said Gia. "I've got to go, Gia but I'll talk to you later. Right?" said Hannah. Gia smiled and looked at her "of course. I'll see you later" said Gia and with that Hannah walked off.
