It was Christmas. This holiday couldn't get any overhyped, I thought. Darwin, however thought that it couldn't be any farther. The smell of peppermint and gingerbread was everywhere, and the yells of Mom and Dad could be heard from downstairs.
''DON'T TOUCH THE BATTER!" Mom yelled. "But, Nicole.." Dad said, poutyness heard.
Personally, I'd really like to just browse Tumblr and Wattpad and sleep all day, but Darwin stops me everyday.
"I love you," Darwin chirps. "So do I, Darwin." I said, trying not to fall asleep. After a whole night of yelling and fighting with my now ex-girlfriend Penny, over Tobias. I came home and broke some things, while desperately cutting some skin, in regret. I reflect over today.
I met this guy, a really cool guy. I forgot his name, but he's taller than me and some people call him a legend. His friend is a major female dog sometimes, but trying to be nice to her won't give me anything. He is kinda shy sometimes and sometimes distant, but that's the way he is. I just can't call him the name he hates. I meet new people everyday.
I dropped my ice-cream on my black hoodie today. I shrugged, since I really didn't care. I cracked my laptop screen after an 'incident'. Luckily, I had headphones on and nobody was there.
"Gummy. Gummy. Gummy. Gummy," Darwin repeats. "What?" I say, my face buried in the pillow.
"Guess what I got you?"
"What?"
Darwin ran out of the room, and came back with a big box, with pink wrapping paper and a blue bow. I opened the paper messily and my eyes widened.
"A MACBOOK AIR?!" I say, amazed. ''OHMYGOSH DARWIN THANK YOOUUUUU!" I yelled, burrowing my face into his.. well, where his neck would be. "I'm sorry, I didn't get you anything..." I say, guiltily. "Well that's okay. I have the one thing I want already."
