District 12 got restored 5 years before, the games have to continue and rebellion ends, they act like nothing ever happened.
A New Victor
Part I the Reaping
Katniss walks into the house with her hunting gear covered in dirt. "Hi Peeta," says Katniss to her husband. "Hi Katniss, catch anything good?" Katniss nods and shows Peeta her rabbit and five fish. Peeta smiles and continues making bread. "Mother! Your home!" says Meadow. (Katniss & Peeta's daughter) Meadow runs up to Katniss and gives her a warm hug. (Since Katniss and Peeta have a rich home and lots of food Meadow has never been to District 12 inner core and had never seen the sadness everyone goes through. Meadow is only 13 and has never been chosen in the Reaping) "What about me?!" Questions Peeta as Meadow comes up to hug him. "Where's James?" Ask Katniss then realises he is dead. James was there second born and went into the games. He did not make it to being the victor, he was only 12.
Peeta cooks the Fish and gives 2 pieces of bread and 2 fish to everyone. "Dinner guys!" Shouts Peeta. He says it three more times try to grab everyone's attention. At the fourth shout Katniss and Meadow come to the table. "Yummy in ma Tummy!" says Meadow happily. Katniss and Peeta smile at her and continue to eat.
The very next morning, is a special day. Meadow turns 14 and its reaping day… "Here you go darling," says Katniss. Katniss hands Meadow the salmon thin dress. "I love it mother, I will wear it with pride," claims Meadow. They take her to the Reaping where she is placed in the girl's area close to the middle of everything, "Good luck," says a random stranger standing next to Meadow. "Welcome, Welcome, Welcome," Meadow looks down at the ground. This is the lady (Johann Holt) who breaks families' hearts every year. "Let's cut to the good bit! In tradition, ladies first!" She ruffles through a bowl and picks out a name, "Meadow Melark," Meadow looks up in surprise as she slowly walks up to the stage; Katniss puts her face in her palms and whimpers "Not again," Peeta does the same thing.
"Now for the men! Caleb Kanda," a pathway is great as the boy works through. This boy is one of the six children from the poorest family in District 12. He he's the same age as Meadow and had his name in there 63 times.
Part II Acting as the Part
Meadow and Caleb walk onto the train with camera crews following them all the way. "Let's just do and act like Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Melark remember that… that's your parents, right?" She nods in reply to Caleb's comment. "If we do that won't people get suspicious and also if we do that won't we fall madly in love like my parents ended up doing?" "Maybe but only one of us can survive…" "Oh, right." The conversation ends as they reach the station where they see what the capitol has become. "What in the name of!" The capitol has one tall building cut to half and lots of small flat cottages and the people look half normal to what they look like on TV.
"I guess the rebellion?" Caleb asks curiously "Shhh we can't speak of that!" says Meadow.
