They were facing each other. After all this time she noticed how his hair got a bit longer, he certainly noticed hers did too. She also realised how his features had changed. They were full of worry, tiredness, guilt, and she could also remark sorrow. He, on the other hand, saw a broken person trying to appear strong and careless, he saw a woman failing at this task. They knew each other too well to let their appearance cloud their judgement. The silence was probably what they needed most. Clarke knew she should not speak first, he had things to say to her. He had things to blame her for. And he was right. But he waited. He waited because he wanted to make sure she would listen. Because she had taken the easy way. And he forgave her for the horrible things they had done together, but he had not forgiven her for leaving everyone behind. Leaving him behind. And above all, leaving him deal alone with the guilt. The space between them was about 2, maybe 3 meters. And that was good. They needed space for what was to come. And as he looked her in the eyes he let the words fly out of his mouth.

"I believe you came back for a reason Clarke. I believe you want to help with something. But just because the people missed you doesn't mean you have the right to act as nothing happened. Because you did abandon us Clarke. All of us, when we needed you the most. So I hope for your sake that you are ready for what is to come. We all changed after Mount Weather. Most of us in a bad way. I am not saying it wouldn't have happened if you stayed. I am saying you left us all, and you will have to deal with this fact. Not everyone had the chance to heal by staying away from civilisation. Not everyone had the opportunity to enjoy loneliness to deal with their issue. I am not ready to see you here. These are the only words you will get from me until I am ready to forgive you for abandoning us. And most important, for abandoning me. Clarke you need to understand you were not alone, but you still left as if the world was on your shoulders. You acted selfishly, and I want you to realise that. And any words you will say will not ease the pain. I had to see all these faces alone, to see their sorrow, their pain. And without you it just got out of hand. I wish I could have gone too. But I didn't because I had responsibilities. And so did you. Anyway, don't go imagining nothing has changed. Goodbye Clarke."

He didn't lower his gaze and kept staring at her. He only felt her move when he faced the door.

"I hear you, Bellamy. I know what I have done and all the impacts it had. On every single one of you. I know I was a coward, I know. Everything you told it's nothing new. And I understand your resentment. I wouldn't have acted any different if it were the other way around. But now that I am here, I am not going anywhere else. I will stay and face my mistakes. Like you did. And I will fix them. I just hope people will forgive me. And above all, I hope you will forgive me and accept me once more in your life Bellamy. You mean a lot to me. And I am back because I care about you more than anyone else, and you will come to realise you need help. And when you will, I will be waiting for you to let me in again once more. And I won't leave. I'll always be by your side Bellamy. No matter what you or I do."

Bellamy began to turn his head then stared at the floor before opening the door and leaving without a word. Clarke stayed in her corner. She didn't want to rush things. All this would take some time. She accepted that and waited for them to come around and trust her again.

I thought about that when I saw the trailer of season 3. Hope you'll enjoy
