The tall skinny man lifted the Raybans from his face and looked around. He looked sheepish almost like a child who had broken a rule. His converse scrunched on the dead leaves that lay on the ground. He scolded himself, of course there was no one around, this place is deserted. He stumbled down the small hill to the place from his nightmares.

It hadn't changed much, it was still a cold place, empty and derilect. It didn't look much better in the day than it did at night. He bent down on his knees and touched the ground, which was damp.

"I'm sorry."

"Hey, pretty boy! How was your weekend? Thought we were gonna hang out?"

Morgan looked at his friend who seemed withdrawn.

"I...was busy."

Morgan reached out and grabbed Reid's shoulder,"You okay, man?"

Reid just nodded and headed into the bullpen without another word. Morgan raised his eyebrows at his retreating friend, he knew something was wrong and he would figure it out, even if it took a while.

Reid lay his head on his desk, This headache is not going to go away, he thought. It didn't really help that he hasn't slept all weekend. He slowly felt his eyes closing and getting heavy.

"Spence?"

He woke up to JJ shaking him to wake him up.

"Are you okay?"

He nodded at her and yawned,"I just didn't sleep much this weekend, you know? Nightmares."

JJ sighed, and nodded. She understood all too well about nightmares, her own and Reid's.

She pulled a chair over to his desk,"What happened?"

He shook his head,"Just silly things." He gave her a weak smile and lifted a file off his rack and began working on it.

She got up and pulled Morgan over to the side.

"Whats going on with Spence?"

Morgan's eyes widened,"You noticed too?"

"Yeah, he's being secretive, he hasn't slept and his nightmares are back."

Morgan sighed, then something hit him,"The last time he acted like this...was when he was..."

"Don't say that, I don't want to think that he's using again."
