Chapter 1 : The Duel
Sofia trudged up the steep stairs to her favorite sorcerers workshop, she began to think back to all the times during her childhood when she would head to the sorcerers workshop to learn sorcery. She had always admired Cedric in more aspects than one, though he probably didn't know it yet Sofia loved Cedric more than she was willing to admit granted she thought her relationship with him at a young age had been only friendship but now as she reached the final step to his workshop she whispered "I love you Cedric and I will wait " finding the key to his workshop she opened the door and slinked in as quiet as a cat.
Cedric hadn't noticed that his apprentice had snuck into his workshop and was wondering where she could be getting up from his stool he noticed that the door was still closed. "Curious" Cedric thought "Sofia always comes up to see me at this time." Suddenly he hears a familiar voice "You won't find me over there Cedric" turning around Cedric sees his lovely apprentice sitting on the stool. "How long were you in here and I didn't notice" he said walking over to the playful princess. "I was in here for a few minutes Cedric though I much rather enjoy your confusion and concern for me" she slyly smiled and got off the stool. Cedric made a dash to try and catch the young princess from behind "Too slow Mr. Ceedric" she teased. Cedric managed to grab hold of the princess's hand and turn her towards him her back to his chest. "It's Said-dric princess and you are late for your lessons" he whispered in her ear. "Nope, I'm not late Cedric I was right on time." Sofia whispered. "You want to play a game Cedric?" Sofia slyly pulled away smiling. "And what game is that Sofia" Cedric turned to his friend. Pulling out her wand, Sofia said "first person to both corner and take their wand, not permanently might I add wins. Loser gets to do whatever the champion decides." " A magic duel" an admiring Cedric smiled "Very well princess let's see what you have got" Cedric had no doubt that he would win at this game but who knows his apprentice was a quick study when it came to magic. "Oh and Cedric don't hold back on me because I am the princess, oh and Garden" she said with that she disappeared with a puff of smoke. It took a while for Cedric to understand what she meant then it hit him "She will be dueling me in the Garden" he thought before he followed his lovely apprentice's and disappeared from the workshop.
