Whatchamacallme: I just rediscovered this the other day.It is a rant caused by 24 Hour Mystery an while back (May 28, 2005).
A jury decided that a man was guilty of killing his wife when the only evidence was some dust, two scratches on his nose, and a collection of 12 bones that they said was hers but they didn't say how they knew. The State Lawyer was very zealous in her accusations and appeared to me, rude and mean-spirited. I personally thought he was innocent.
The Italics is what I think God would say.
Injustices
LORD! The God of Justice!
How could this things happen?
Innocent people are condemned.
Their lives are wasted
While they sit in prison.
My Lord, how can this be...?
This must be a work of the Enemy.
There is no other way to explain.
But we are your creation!
You created our very souls.
How could you let this injustice pass?
Couldn't you have touched the jury,
So that they would know them innocent?
Of course, you could have,
Why, then, didn't you?
Why...
My soul cries for them.
Many are carrying out a sentence
A different one deserves.
It is true,
I breathed life into your soul.
I am the Creator and the One of Justice.
I did let these things pass.
The world is Mine.
But I did not stop the injustice,
Because I have given to Man freewill.
And in his freewill,
He condemned men to confinement.
But do not worry, Little Child,
My Justice is yet to come.
