Here is my first Nanny fic. I was originally planning on writing a F/M one but this is what my mind was telling me to write. I hope you enjoy! ~markaleen

Gracie Sheffield walked into her therapist, Dr. Voort's office.

Dr. Voort smiled, "Hello Grace. How are you today?"

Gracie smiled back, "Hello Dr. Voort, I am fine, how are you?"

"I'm good. Please, take a seat."

Gracie obeyed.

Dr. Voort took out a pad of paper and Gracie's file. Gracie sat quietly as she waited for Dr. Voort to be ready.

"Alright Grace, how has your week gone?"

"Pretty normal. I did have another one of those dreams where something is chasing me and I can't run."

"I see…"

"Other than that I think I'm doing okay."

"That's good to hear." She wrote a few things down and continued. "This week I'd like us to talk about your family."

Gracie nodded, "Okay, where should I start?"

"How about we start with your father."

"Okay." She waited for her next instruction.

"Go ahead…"

"Well, he's a Broadway producer, he's originally from England, he's nice, and he takes care of us…"

"Is that all?"

"I guess so."

"Alright…" She wrote more in the pad of paper. "What about your sister?"

"She's pretty nice, but she's always out with friends or boys…"

"Well, that comes naturally with her age."

"I guess so, but I sort of miss the shy Maggie. She's been popular ever since Fran came. Not that I'm not glad Fran became our nanny. I am very, very happy about that. It's been great having her. I still love Maggie, and I do like the change in Brighton since Fran came."

Dr. Voort nodded, "What changed in him?"

"He's been more bearable. And he's stopped his fake suicides."

"That's good." Gracie had mentioned those to her in the past.

"Of course, he is still very annoying. He can be fun at times though."

"That's normal with brothers."

Gracie continued, "I count Niles as part of family. He's been out butler for as long as I lived. Longer. He's the greatest. It's really funny when he and C.C. argue."

"Now, C.C. is your father's business partner, correct?"

"Yes. I can probably count her as family also; she's at home all the time. She's okay… definitely not my most favorite person though."

"Why is that?"

"For one thing, she can never remember my name…"

"What about Fran?"

"She always remembers my name!"

Dr. Voort laughed, "No, no, I mean what do you think of Fran?"

Gracie's eyes lit up, "Oh! I love Fran. She's amazing, she's beautiful, and she's clever. Everybody loves her. Well… C.C. isn't crazy about her, but that's C.C. for you."

"That's everybody right?"

"Yes."

"Very good…" she finished writing and looked up at Gracie, "Alright Grace, our time is almost up. This was a great session."

Gracie stood up, "I think so too."

"See you next week."

Gracie nodded, turned around, and walked to the door.

Just before she opened the door, Dr. Voort stopped her, "Oh, and Grace?"

She turned around, "Yes, Dr. Voort?"

She smiled, "Tell your family hello for me."

Gracie smiled and nodded, "I will."

Fran was waiting for her in the waiting room, "Hi Gracie! How was session?"

Gracie smiled, "It went very well. Dr. Voort says hi. Well, I'm starved. Fran, can we go to that sandwich shop?"

"I don't see why not. Besides, I still have those coupons we found."

"I thought they were expired… when we found them."

"Oh they never look."

They walked out of the office and head down the street for the sandwich shop. Gracie thought as she walked, I really am lucky to have my family… She turned to Fran and gave her a big hug. "I love you, Fran"

Fran smiled, "I love you too, Gracie."

"Fran, I changed my mind, I this I'd rather go home and tell everyone how much I love them."

Fran wasn't quite sure what had gotten into Gracie but she seemed happy.

Very happy.

The End.
