One-shot I made up listening to Saya's Lullaby. Enjoy.

"Hey, Train, why do we have a piano?" Eve asked as said person walked into the apartment.

Train looked up, throwing the overcoat onto the hanger on the wall. He looked around the place and found it cleaner than when he left. He smiled and settled his glaze on the small piano in the corner.

He had originally found it in a music store a few blocks away, and had taken it when they went out of business. Sven had continued sweeping, but never really settled down like Train had. Train rented the house for seven months before buying it. Eve swapped between the two partners and when she turned eighteen in five years, she could move out of stay with one of them.

"Because it's a keepsake," Train answered, walking over to the polished mahogany wood.

"From who?" Eve asked, getting up from the couch.

Train smiled, "From Saya."

Eve gave a questionate look, but didn't ask anything as Train sat down on the bench before the piano. Train took off Hades, depositing the gun on the floor next to him as he remembered the vow never to play with the weapon.

Silently he located the opening keys, before playing the melody. Saya's Melody.

Sing a song unto the world

Rising high the clouds unfurl

Gazing at the twilight sky

Broken by a newborn high

Changes from the smallest things

Gazing at an angels wings

Fall down, fall down, falls the rain

My life is not in vain

Light and fancy in the wind

Sing a song onto the world

Rising high the clouds unfurl

Fan the flames into the past

Here now owner lives will last

We'll never know the times of pain

Fall down, fall down, falls the rain

My life won't be plain.

Light and bouncy in the wind

Sing a song unto the world

Fall down fall down falls the rain

My life won't be plain

Train played the now silent melody once more, letting the notes fade into the air. Eve smiled, knowing that now he was smiling after having stayed up three nights in a row getting a three million bounty a city four towns over. She however, maintained getting smaller bounty's that paid for the lights and electricity bills.

"I didn't know you could play piano." She lied; she had heard him practicing several times out on the rooftops.

"Saya taught me the words…before then…but it took me years to find all the right notes to play, and a few months to be able to play it correctly in tune." Train said, scratching his head.

"It was nice." Eve said simply.

Train paused from getting up. Eve could see the smirk spreading across his face. "Thanks princess, now get your butt in bed, otherwise Sven will have my head and I'll take my piano and that book, to my grave." He smiled, playfully reaching for the book.

Eve protested, until Train eventually gave up and carried her into bed and locked the door. Then he walked to the fridge, grabbed a bottle of milk and went up the stairs onto the rooftop. He smiled as he sat on the chimney.

He uncapped the bottle and poured it into a small dish until it was about half full. Then he tipped the bottle back, drinking the rest of it as he stared at the full moon. He grinned, now in a good mood despite being sleep deprived.

"Fall down fall down falls the rain, oh no my life sure won't be plain." He sang, finishing off the bottle and setting it quietly on the ground.
