Although, he may or may not be the cause of the suffering world; the world itself was already in such pain, with sickness and illusory and continuous death. But the man was bind with this world that he could not escape, "either eat or be eaten", he once said.
A world of his own creation, he must thrive in.
He brought suffering to the young prince, transfigure him into something more. Something he could not attain, or hold within his grasp. Only a black soul and its dark shadow could hold such light, and devour it. In return, the young prince did the same, but only returning with kindness. A spark of a tiny star burns inside the man.
It was something that the man could not repay.
"If only I could undo our past…" He said with sadness in voice, holding such guilt.
"But you said once, one cannot undo the past, but to only move on."
Many times the prince held grudge against him, but forgiven many times after that. The fiery young man still returns to him, still drawn into the deep darkness. The man could only smile, inwardly, candid and childishly at the young prince. As he still mimics the man that he admires, and still does. Only a child that made him sees such light.
A fragment of a star that becomes a fiery light, he could finally attain.
