The sun was making the sky bright. An orange wolf was running off. He spotted something. A fat, weak cow elk. He darted toward it, and bit her rump. She struggled, shaking him off. He then bit her again, and the elk tried to kick him away. After a few bites and kicks, he finally got to her jugular, and then she fell limp, and blood gurgled out of her mouth in bubbles. Despite the disturbing blood bubbles, the wolf's gray eyes looked at the corpse. Fresh meat. He thought. He then tore out some of her flesh, blood staining his muzzle, and he swallowed some of the meat. As he ate his fill, he had a flashback.

In Grassy Plain…

"You're not fit for the Sloughs, Oriental!" Tarp growled. His light brown fur was shining a golden tint in the sunlight. The orange wolf was just staring into space. "Listen to me, you no-account!" Tarp growled as he bit Oriental's head. "OK! What do you want, Tarp!" Oriental yipped. "LEAVE, ORIENTAL, GO FIND A MATE! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR UGLY FACE AGAIN!" Tarp yipped. "Quit insulting me, 'Mr. likes to boss around and insult his pack members'!" Oriental growled back. "If you dont take that back and leave, I'LL RIP YOUR ENTRAILS OUT, YOU TWIT!" Tarp snapped, and then bit Oriental's withers. Oriental ran around, trying to take Tarp off of his withers. He got close to the dead tree, and banged Tarp against it. Tarp yelped in pain, and ran back.

Oriental snapped back to reality. He headed towards the Amethyst Mountain slopes, and as he ran towards it, it started to rain. Finally, after running for miles, he found the Amethyst Mountain. He knew that he had to catch the scent of a stranger wolf before the wind blew it away. He was sniffing the scent, and then, he saw a gray Specimen female. She looked at him with her dark blue eyes. He snarled, his tail up, "You're not my family." The female growled back, her tail up as well "I want to be boss!" And then, Oriental's tail lowered again. He barked "No, I want to be boss!" And then bit her. She went in a submissive position, whimpering. "I give in!" And Oriental looked away, whimpering "Take it easy." And the female just stood, a normal expression. "I'll stay put." And then Oriental replied "It's cool." The female bit him, saying "Get going!" And then he bit back in self-defense, asking "Do I know you?" Then the female ran off, saying "I've got to go."
