July 4th. America was walking down the street in Washington D.C. He was not cheering or celebrating. He seemed calm and very 'unheroic'. America had a bouquet of flowers in his hand. There was a rustling in the bush besides him. Britain was watching him because of his strange behavior. "What the blast is he doing." He murmured out loud.
"Ya. He acting all sad like." China said from the same bush. Britain jumped and almost screamed.
"China! What are you doing here!?"
"I delivered the fireworks. You act like this is weird."
"But you're in the same bush."
"But I am also here." Russia said from behind them. Sporting his creepy smile and white scarf.
"Russia! What the blast are you doing!" Britain screamed.
"Having the fun with the friends." Russia said.
"I don't have time for this. I need to see what America is up too." Britain said. By this time America was far ahead of them. All three of them snuck around Washington D.C. trying hard not to get spotted by America. After a while they came up to a cemetery. America was almost reluctant to go inside but he did. Britain, China, and Russia jumped into a bush as America walked up to a gravestone. He kneeled down in front of it and laid the flowers down.
"Hey George." America said. "I ah… made fun of Britain yesterday. Yeah it was pretty good. I wish you could have been there. Remember when we used to make fun of Britain together hehe. The ah country is fine. We could be doing better but everyone thinks of me as the hero obviously. I'm doing as good as I can George." America was starting to get teary. "Are you proud? Did I do a good job? I just want to know. I miss you." America was getting really worked up by this point. Britain and China looked at each other and realized Russia was no longer with them in the bush. They looked over to see Russia, not hugging, more like holding America. America's eyes were wide and it looked like he was fearing for his life.
"It will be okay, da?" Russia said. Britain and China ran over and tried to get Russia off of America. Russia eventually let America down. America was very shaken up by the whole ordeal. Once he had calmed down America realized that Britain and China were also there.
"Wait. What are you guys doing here?" America said.
"Not important. You alright?" China asked.
"Yeah I guess."
"Okay chap." Britain said. "Why don't we get a pint together and talk about this...a…"
"George Washington." America said.
"There will be vodka, da?" Russia interrupted.
"You guys go. I need to drop off the fireworks." China said as he walked away. The 4th of July was pretty good for the rest of the day for America. Because he was with, not only his allies, his friends.
