So yeah, I had to write a poem for my AP English Class and well this is what came out. I didn't write it with High School Musical in mind, but I realized it could be.

Whole
A familiar feeling stirs in my soul
Sometimes I wonder, will it ever be whole?
Little by little my heart falls apart
If only I could have stopped this from the very start
The day we met
Is something I'll never forget
My books fell with a crash
But you were by my side in a flash
You saw me in a way no one could
A way in which I thought nobody would
You became my friend and so much more
You've become the person that I adore
But now things have changed
And I don't know what to do
I didn't think you could ever break my heart
But now my heart is in two.
You found someone else
Someone who makes you feel
All those things
Things that make love real
The tears fall silently down my face
As I realize I've been erased
Erased from your mind and your soul
I wish you hadn't been the one
The one who makes me whole.
