He was in the library, alone.
His love was consuming him, day after day. He couldn't bear it.
No, not his love, but his jealousy.
The jealousy he felt for Selene was dominating him, completely, it was possessing his soul.
The passion and the obsession he felt for her burned him inside his heart.
He was absolutely doomed.
Why, why would she accept his love for one night, and then reject it, denying the passion lived by them that night?
That nigh was his doom.
For days he had isolated himself from everyone in the mansion. He decided to take care only the most important subjects to the coven, so he could come back to lock himself in the library, to stay alone with his thoughts.
He didn't want to see her. Didn't want another fight. Didn't want to be tempt by her, by her false love.
He drank. Drank all the time, to not think about her, because to forget her it was impossible.
Suddenly, Erika gets in.
"What are you doing here? I already told I don't want to be bothered!"
"Kraven, this madness cannot hold on. Look at yourself. She is destroying you!"
"This is not of your business. Now get out!"
"No" Erika answers, the challenger voice.
"How dare you to challenge my order? Get out now!"
"I will not let her to destroy you! I couldn't bear to see it!"
"What do you mean, Erika?"
"Only that you should pay more attention to what is right in front of you" and saying that, she undressed.
Kraven looked at her, surprised. He admired her beautiful body, and then, went to her arms.
He relieved himself to passion with Erika, handed over by the drink and by the disillusion with Selene.
This night, Kraven had Erika in his arms, as he always had desired to have Selene. He possessed her, completely.
He felt Erika really had surrendered herself to him, of body and soul, as Selene would never be able to do.
Erika was offering him all the love and passion, all the lust and desire Selene was denying him.
She was offering him a new beginning.
A new life.
A new chance to love.
(But would it really be what Kraven needed?)
