Summary: A typical morning in the Fabray-Berry/Berry-Fabray (no one really knows, least of all them, which order it goes in) household.

Pairing: Rachel/Quinn

No one ever told Quinn that having more than one child was a wondrous mistake. This was always newly discovered each morning when she heard the sounds of arguing from the bathroom. Beth, at seventeen, had gotten her own half-bath, seeing as she spent the vast majority of the morning in front of the mirror. Jay, Riff-Raff and Kenny, though, still had to share. She nudged Rachel and then pinched her nipple when she only made a sound that could have meant anything from 'I'm up, I'm up' to 'What, crazy woman?'

The small woman sat up, "Hngg?"

"Go handle your children," She mumbled. "I can hear War World Four from here."

Rachel laid back down and covered her head with the pillow, "Hngg. Before sunrise, they're yours."

Quinn kicked her lightly, "Your uterus. Your problem." Rachel yelped before sitting up again, muttering about abuse as she got up to handle them. About ten minutes later, she laid on top of Quinn, letting her eyes slip closed, before she mumbled, "What possessed us to have four girls?"

Quinn pet her hair, "God."

Her wife made an agreeing sound, "He does like a virgin."

Quinn was gob-smacked for a moment before swatting her wife, "You do not joke about Jesus that way!"

Rachel snorted sleepily, "What, he's gonna come down here and fight me?"

Riff-Raff poked her head in before the blonde could come up with an answer, "Mom, we're out of waffles. And syrup. And those Chef Boyardee breakfast burritos Aunt Santana made us eat."

Quinn replied, "Eat the oatmeal."

Kenny ducked under her twin and frowned, "I hate the oatmeal. Besides, Any ate it all last week when she broke up with James."

The mother groaned, but said, "Eat the pancakes with a little of that Silk butter thing and sugar. You can't tell the difference."

She could feel Riff-Raff's pout and added, "You haven't before."

The pout grew, this time with Kenny's help. Lord above, how had she let Rachel pass on her genes?

"Tell Beth to stop at McDonalds on the way to school," She finally said. The nutrition battle was best won on a day when she'd had a full night's sleep.

She heard cheering from outside the door. Any had orchestrated it, then.

Rachel lifted her head from Quinn's chest, and said, just loud enough to be heard down the hall, "Kisses." Riff-Raff came in first, then Jay and Kenny and finally Beth, pretending to be annoyed with the routine, climbed on the bed and kissed their mothers cheeks before all saying some variation of "I love you."

The three teenagers and one pre-teen trooped out of the house, leaving it quiet except for the hum of the A/C. Quinn sighed in relief, "Peace and quiet."

There was silence from Rachel for about ten minutes before she asked, "Think we should get a dog?"
