Two of A Whole

In the darkest part of night a full moon gracefully hangs. All is silent, too silent. Blackness hangs over like a dark blanket. A symbol of eternity. A lone girl stands admist the dark, she gazes up at the moon, wondering. Wondering and fearing, something unknown, something not yet here.
"How am I supposed to protect if I know not the danger?" Spirits of shimmering silver flowed around her, soothing her.
"You say I will know when the time comes but I feel I need to know now." The girl's sharp golden tresses stir gently at the night's breeze, her onyx eyes reflecting more then just the brilliance of the moon.
"Anna? Why're you out here at this time?" A boy's voice came from the inside of the house, his body followed. Anna turned her head, slightly acknowledging him.
"I'm just thinking." she says faintly.
The boy started, Anna must be really distracted. She didn't even yell.In fact, her voice was soft and almost caring. He moved closer to her stepping into the garden.
"Well, whatcha thinkin?" The boy scratched his head making his alreay unruly hair stand up even more.
"Nothing important." Anna lied, "Why are you up, Yoh? Tomorrow is another day of training." Her voice now hinted her trademark ice. The shaman fights may have been won but they weren't all through yet, Yoh still needed to improve. Yoh yawned carelessly and draped a casual arm around her.
"We have a ig break, why don't you just let me rest tomorrow? C'mon have a heart!" Yoh looked at Anna but her face was as unreadable as ever.
Anna sighed, "Yoh...fine. You can have your break."
Yoh's response was to hug her. Usually the malicious girl would've slapped him, but then again, usually Yoh was never this daring. Anna just relaxed, resting her head on his shoulders.
Strange things happen in the middle of the night. This night was no exception.
"BEEP BEEP BEEP!"
"Ugh, no, shut it off." Yoh covered his head with his pillow, not knowing where the offending clock was and so not being able to shut it off. His door slipped open and some one walked in. Suddenly the sounds stopped, Yoh looked up from his pillow. Just in time to see Anna's retreating form.
"Thanks Anna" He mumbled, half asleep.
"That alarm was interupting my show." Anna brushed through the door, closing it gently. A smile crept slowly into her stony features, softening them imeasurably.
"Sleep well."
Review if you want, I'd like ideas.
